What made it extremely hard was the surprise behind the first large door, its very OP even in normal game play where you can drop minions in on demand.
The other thing you stumble on when progressing further wasn't exactly easy either because of the limit of minions you can have in a group+their levels(unless you take it very slow). Ended up tricking it to follow me all the way to the zig-zag crossing to get help from extra minions, since it either prioritizes player-possessed minions or some threat-weight system where the hero you play as is considered top priority.
Still though, this is in no way shape or form a complaint. As always it was unique and very fun, just required a bit of cheesy tactics to get past those two hurdles.
Happy New Year ;-)
Extremely hard, assume it would have been a lot easier if I'd spent some time in the Foundry first?
Happy new year!
Thought it was going to be a cakewalk at first because of the XP bug, but you did a good job at slowly ramping up the attacks and not leaving a lot of breathing room.
I'd personally increase the difficulty of the empire-part slightly since I was able to do it in one go with only the pets, but perhaps they scale with the attacks and I was too quick?
Also, was the portcullis AI ambush scripted? If so that was a nice touch!
Great fun once again.
