!!! UNFORTUNATELY, I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO CONTINUE THIS PROJECT !!!
Anyone who wants to continue it independently can use my files for it.

A compatibility patch for CPRplus and Elder Kings.

It adjusts the portrait properties to feature the fancy boils and red dots files without overwriting the new backgrounds.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Known issues:
Before using the mod you need to delete the ekcprpluspatch.mod mod-file in your mod directory (G:\Dokumente\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod). Then copy-paste the ekcprpluspatch.mod mod-file from the ekcprpluspatch.zip into your mod directory. This should fix weird looking portraits by adding the right dependencies which were not taken over when you downloaded the mod.

Please update! Characters start out with "no religion" with this and CPRPLUS activated, looks like most of the religions are replaced with vanilla ones.

None of the characters that appear after the start of the game have their racial traits.

It would be cool to use the italian portraits that that holy fury will add for the colovians, thinking that they are an imperial race.

@hek189󠀡 Check whether you have cloud sync enabled. Right click on CK2 and open properties > goto updates and check steam cloud sync. If it still doesn't work subscribe this mod while the CK2 launcher is opened. Close the launcher and open it again.

Yeah.. Just restartet the game and it work. It is weird.
