class VT 95 DB

The class VT95 (later class 795) is a multiple unit class of the so called "Uerdinger railbusses", which were developed by the German firm of Waggonfabrik Uerdingen for the Deutsche Bundesbahn and private railways after the Second World War. Its construction, drivetrain and furnishings are very simple and resemble those in a bus (hence the name Schienenbus or railbus). These vehicles were employed in passenger train duties on branch lines where steam or diesel train operations were less profitable. The vehicles had a Büssing motor and a six-gear transmission built into the chassis underneath the vehicle.
The VT 95.9 was developed based on the experience gained with prototypes and was delivered since 1952 by Waggonfabrik Uerdingen. Whilst the first delivered railbusses were powered by a 110hp engine, later delivered series already used a 150hp engine by Büssing. Regardless this enhancement the railbusses couldn´t pull more than 2 Trailer cars in the plain, usually only one or no trailer cars were used per powered car. Later it was possible to control more than one car by one driver, so the combination of 2 trailer cars in between 2 powered cars was often used.
557 single-motored Class VT 95.9 units were built, as well as 564 Class VB 142 trailer cars.
Because the VT95 class had too less power and no normal buffers, the class VT98 was dveloped as an enhanced version of the vt95 railbus.

this package contains the classes VT95 and VB142 (later: 795 and 995).
it contains 3 Versions each of an powered and an trailer car. They got more or less differences in their power, model and availability, based on the original railbusses.
A special sound was created for this vehicles, trying to simulate the gearbox.

Other versions of the Uerdinger railbusses are in development/planning. Check for more info.

This train looks like bzmot 384 class locomotive and Bzx 688 passenger coach. I hope one day someone make this train int the game. :)

Nice screenshots and cool mod

It's really impressive to see what some people are capable of with this game. All my saves look so generic and dull compared to these beautiful screens. It almost looks more like a train simulator rather than a transport management game. The railbus looks pretty cool too.

Nice mod, but I think it would help people if you put the stats in the description as well instead of only in the youtube video.

So eine schöne Mod. Und was man alles damit anstellen kann. Meine Schienenbusstrecken sind immer das Highlight auf meinen Karten. Danke dafür.
