(Unofficial) Exceed Fighting System: Complete (Formerly XFS: Balanced Breakfast)

Description
The Exceed Fighting System, by Level 99 Games.
(Also Guilty Gear -Strive-: The Board Game, by Level 99 Games.)

Exceed is a card-driven system that brings traditional arcade fighters to the tabletop. 2 players, ~30 minutes per game (down to 15-20 with experience), moderate complexity (similar weight to Cosmic Encounter or Roll for the Galaxy).

This module was originally adapted from the official module. It includes:

* All 119-ish known fighters, i.e. all 7 seasons (Red Horizon, Seventh Cross, Street Fighter, Shovel Knight, BlazBlue, Under Night, Guilty Gear -Strive-) and solo fighters
* Seats for 10 players (5 head-to-head matches)
* Timer modes and hidden selection zones, e.g. for tournament play
* Scripted reference card generation -- easily create duplicates of a character's specials and ultras for easy reference
* Fan-made playmats
* Character costumes, a way to switch out your Normals and card backs so you can play with your favorite aesthetic
* Dozens of secret fan-made characters accessible via a cheat code system

Ongoing development updates for this module (along with other Exceed-related content) can be found on the following Discord server: https://discord.gg/jM2sPAWDr7

Strive character images were optimized based on files originally included in the following module: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3023065400

This module has been heavily optimized since its release, but if the scripts ever break, you can try "Lighter Breakfast", which is less efficient, but has fewer features and doesn't rely on scripting. It's available here:

@BlackChair: I'm not sure I understand the question, sorry. Are you looking for how to change colors? (Click your name in the top-right, then click "Change Color", then click a color other than grey or black.)

@RedSpade83: Thanks for the heads-up! Will try to get that fixed soon.

For the reference sheets, state 37 is missing

@Bubbz: The passwords themselves are a not-very-well-kept secret. Clues to the passwords show up occasionally as random announcements, but the clues are often so obscure as to be incomprehensible. Successfully spawning a character prints their password in chat to make it easier to spawn a desired character a second time. You can also ask around on the Discord (link on the Reddit) - folks are typically happy to provide spoilertagged passwords for most characters, since it's well-known that the hint system is inadequate to finding them "naturally".

Hope that helps!

@Bubbz: Thanks for the feedback! I am planning on including a rules document, but the details are still underway.

As for the cheat code system:

There are a number of hidden characters who have a small chance of spawning when "Random Any" is chosen. (If you want an easy way to try them out, try disabling each season roster by clicking the appropriate icon for that season, then clicking Random Any afterward.)

Almost all of those characters can instead be spawned directly by entering a certain four-character password, then confirming the entry by clicking one of the Random buttons. Which Random button functions as the confirm key depends on the character (e.g.: The Knight uses Random Any; Three Precept Enkidu uses Random S6; Ultimate Zangetsu uses Random Boss).

This has been a tonne of fun, did need to look up the rules but past that the setup is amazing. But, what the heck is this cheat code system to unlock more characters and how do I access it?

@Shanic: Thanks for the follow-up, that's a relief!

Thanks for replaying, but I actually found out it was entirely user error based. Cause I uninstalled a certain version of Visual Studio's C++ repository, certain items and objects would kill the load process in TableTopSim. I re-downloaded the repository and it's working like a dream again. Sorry for making ya worry.

@Shanic: Thanks for reporting. That kind of issue can be a bit tricky for me to track down, unfortunately. Are there any images that obviously aren't loaded when it's stuck at 118/133 - for example, do any of the playmats (boards) appear blank and white, and do you see all seven seasonal "select screen" images?
