[RTS] Curway: Aegis - Operation Saboteur


Welcome to my 3-months of experimenting and scripting.
This is a modification mission for zeus, that changes it into RTS-style top-down view game.

In this mission, you are tasked to perform sabotage with Aegis unit inside the enemy territory.
This mission is experimental, bugs may and will occur and not everything was taken into account, so please report any weird behaviour.

Menu appears when any unit is selected.
This menu can be used to quickly change pose and speed of the selected units.
There are 3 actions
- Throw grenade
- Fire AT
- Heal

You can throw grenades only if one of the selected units has some.
You can fire AT only if one of the selected units has it.
You can heal only if some of the units are injured and have any FAKs left.

Actions are confirmed pressing LMB, and canceled pressing RMB.

Known bugs:
- Rarely AI refuses to obey waypoints = remove them from group, give them waypoint close to them and they should wake up
- Destroy waypoints (RMB on enemy unit) are unpredictable. No known solution yet. (arma logic)

Upcoming features:
- Planning mode (stops time and let's you plan your ambush)
- Fire modes (allow or disallow selected units to fire on sight)
- Info about grenades, AT rockets and FAKs left.

I am already resolving this problem, but until someone from BIS answers me, why waypoint behave the way they behave, I can't do much from my side. I know about the problem and trying to fix it

I'm having issues with getting AI to engage targets, I even had moments where my squad ran away from a target I set to destory. this makes it extreamly frustrating
