The Legend of Zelda - Mirror Shield of the Great Sea (Smithing Edition)

[No DLC required]

NOTE: This version will no longer update. Any new fixes will only apply to the original version:

Years ago, the whole of Tamriel was covered by a vast ocean, with islands scattered throughout it. One island was home to a vast temple dedicated to the earth. Resting within was a shield that could reflect magic, forged by the gods to aid a hero destined to vanquish an evil menace from the dawn of time. Grim folk say that the shield was wielded by such a hero, but was lost to the sea. The knowledge to forge the shield was retained by the Dwemer, and through that understanding, one can create their own Mirror Shield.

The ward effect appears and vanishes quickly, but the shield still reflects! Don't worry! It's just a visual cue to let you know it's working!

This mod places the Mirror Shield from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker into a large lake in Skyrim, specificially in the Pale. Since the shield is such a strong artifact (equal to an Ebony Shield) with a very powerful enchantment -- the ability to reflect magic attacks -- that is the only hint you will get. That and you might have to fight a dragon.

To craft the shield, you need:
Arcane Blacksmith Perk
Advanced Armors Perk
Ancient Knowledge (from Unfathomable Depths quest)
7 Blue Mountain Flowers
4 Quicksilver Ingots
1 Gold Ingot
1 Steel Ingot
3 Dwarven Oil

The shield is heavy armor by default, but can be converted to light armor by heating it in a smelter.
Furthermore, the shield has the enchantment on it by default, but if you smelt it with a grand soul gem, you can strip the enchantment without destroying the shield.

A more Lore-integrated, unique artifact version:

this has become my favorite shield on every playthrough since subscribing. It's fun and very helpful to reflect spells back on their casters (and even level up destruction while doing it). Thumbs up.

Well, I'm not sure how to help with that. Hit the page up a couple times? Make sure the mod is installed? I dunno.

There is a spawn code for every item. I don't keep track of them myself, but if you type

help mirror

into the console, the code should appear.

is there a spawn code?
