Deco & Placeables (Road to Crafting Overhaul)

Description
Add some decorations items and crafstations to decorate your surroundings.

What's in this mod?
Decoration items and Craftstations but also some specific elements
such as the possibility to see metal ingots or tar in 3D, to "put" weapons on a table or on the floor (using a special box:► see video)
as well as larger elements such as Nordheimer or Stygian houses, wooden ramparts, skins, water areas.
Objects can only be accessed in administrator mod, so you can better control the content on your server (use the Admin Chest to see all items).

What's the point?
Mainly to add visual content and create ambiences.
But above all, this mod exists to work with another mod: Crafting Overhaul, currently in preparation.

How to animate the Craftstations?
I recently changed the ID of the craft stations which can then be used as classical workshops (this way of process is temporary).

Can't we add Thralls in?
Yes, this is now possible.

Road to Crafting Overhaul?
The goal is to release (finally) my Crafting Overhaul project and this mod, here present, contains the visual elements and the crafting station necessary for this project.

oh ok thanks for the info,
hopefully funcom can find a way to address this, because there are often cases when one mod might need to reference another mod or add something to the same table..

If not exist in table x, append to table x (within mod context), etc :)

Each type of thrall has a list corresponding to the workshops they can work in. This list is not mergeable between mods, i.e. the last mod to modify this list overrides the others.
The solution would be that the last mod could have the list of all custom workshops associated to each thrall type. If the modders share the same data table for thralls, then this will be possible but data table can't be merged for this kinf of informations.

hi does this mean that modders are prevented and always will be prevented because of modding "rules"? or just that the feature to allow vanilla thralls in stations is not added yet?

The modification rules do not allow many mods to offer the use of vanilla thrall in custom crafting stations. Soi t's not possible to use thralls in my crafting stations (without an other mod I made but still in progress, for ever, apparently). I tested my mod in solo without other mods (except Pippi and LBPR) and animations are working.

The Windmill is not turning at all with or without an animation scroll, and not the water Saw Mill but the watermill that has an animation scroll but the only thing I can craft is another Watermill or Wheat. It's not just those two all the item in your mod do not animate for me. Also the Thralls I can get some of them to have thralls Like Elvanore Farmer but I've tried all the regular thralls and the Elvanore Thralls and none of them work.

The windmill does not need an animation scroll. The wings are always turning.
For the Water saw mill, put an animation scroll in the inventory of the mill then select the animation recipe and click the craft button.

Could the Author help me.I can't get the Windmill, Watermill or any other device to animate. I have the Animation Scrolls, in the Feats Survival Craftstation Animation it shows the Windmill Mechanism Animation and all the other Animations but it says Craft in, and the rest is in a foreign language. Also when I open the inventory of the Windmill it has a Payment Box and a Profession Worker Box, I tried the Animation Scroll, in both, but I don't know what to put in them and I've tried everything I could think of. So If the Author or anyone else could tell me how and to where to find what I need it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, i have a question...How can i make the craftstations work? I put resources of the game inside the stations and they doesn't make anything, i don't know if i am doing something wrong. Are they only for decoration? And i have to say that this mod is beatiful! Great job!

Well i need to awesome work. Such detailed every single piece. either that i for example can use ore as ingredients like decoration. seldom have i seen such great work :) Sadly just that crafting stations not work like seen in movies. I guess the reason is the last big funcom update? However, thank you for share your work and hope either the stations will be work like seen sooner or later. Thank you very much
