Point of this mod
This way, the cooldown is official and actually protecting the tribe! Most of servers are using "cooldowns" after people get raided. But with this flag, they will be covered for the X amount of times that they are allowed to be. So, people can't break rules by pretending that they didn't know that "this tribe" was actually under protection.

What is the Cooldown Flag ?
The Cooldown flag is a structure that has to be spawned by an admin and set by the player on the top of their base. It require 1 Coin to be activated that also need to be spawned by an admin so people can't use it as they wish. Once activated, the flag will consume the coin and no matter what size is the forcefield it'll still be the amount of time specified on the coin so 24h/72h.. etc. If the player turn the Flag off, there will be no coming back, the coin will be consumed and they won't be able to turn it back on. Basically the flag will protect your base and your dinos by making a forcefield for a certain amount of time (Depend of your coin).

By using the RCON system you could spawn the Cooldown flag without having to go ingame. " To be honest, I have no idea if we can see the Player IDs here, it has to be tested "
Most of servers are using discord now, so if a player request a cooldown after being raided, they just have to give their ingame name "or their "Sample #" which is the player ID and that can be found inside the player inventory on the implant" so you can spawn the Flag and the coin inside their inventory and explain them how does it work in few lines,
like : " Put the "Cooldown Flag" on your base, insert the coin inside and turn it on, it'll make a forcefield around your base for the next 24 hours "

How do we find the <PlayerID> ?
InGame : showmyadminmanager
and I guess that you can find it as well on RCON which I never used.. so, I just suppose.

Alternative way to get the Player ID if we can't on RCON
When a player ask for a cooldown, ask them to look at their Sample # on their Specimen Implant. This is their player ID.

If you find any bugs please report them in the discussion as fast as possible so they can be fixed.
All the coins spoil after 2 hours. This way, people can't store them!

@Sebby, can you add more/different coins for a longer protection? We would like to have protection for max 1 week (168 hours)

I know that you need a plugin for what you want but this is out my ladder, can't do anything about that :/

Hi @Sebby thanks for your reply, what we want in our server that starters/beginners are protected for x time, and also would love to see that other players are aware of it so they cant mess with them. We as admin cant be always online so a automated thing would be ideal.
You got any idea how to get this to work?

@Decco , I had something like that but sometimes it was glitching when a player was leaving a tribe and joining another one so I removed that feature

"to give starters the possibility to be protected when they start" You can easily do that with a plugin like the currency one where you get points over time and you can claim kits, the tribe thing, people would abuse it and get infinite coins so meh.. :c The coin spoil over time if no one use it and some admins drop them in front of the players instead of spawning it in their inventory :S

I also would love to see more coins with more time like up to 1 week or so to give starters the possibility to be protected when they start. It would also cool if you create a tribe you auto get a default 1 week coin and flag, and when the owner leaves the tribe the flag get auto destroyed so they cant take advantage to build more then one flag. Also when you drop the flag or coin it has to dissapear/get destroyed so no one can get the coin or flag.

any way to force only 1 flag / tribe ? giving out the flags as kits , and dont want 2 players to make a tribe and use 2 or more flags, and btw can we get a minimum range betwen flags?

@revoolt, I had that but there was some issues, like sometimes, cuz the game is retarded, they were considering the other tribe flag as ur flag and you couldn't place it.. couldn't find a way to fix that so I decided to get rid of this option. Then, if they decide to use 2 flags, I made it so the coin spoil after a certain amount of time, so even if the area covered is bigger, they can't stack it and have it longer.. idk if this point make any sense for you
