Xlanhuapec, City of Mist

Description
THE LORE:

Xlanhuapec, the City of Mist, is the second city to be founded and a mysterious place that holds many secrets left behind by the Old Ones. For its own protection, the entire city is perpetually wreathed in banks of coiling mist and it is possible to pass within a few yards of its boundary stones without noting the city’s sprawling presence, so thick are those swirling vapours.

Xlanhuapec houses a number of ancient artifacts, including the Placid Pool - reflective waters that allow world-spanning visions; the Device of the Great Beyond - a communications relic through which others from far distant stars occasionally speak, and an Eternity Ship — a great egg-shaped vessel within which time does not flow. These hoarded treasures and more are jealously guarded and it is a death sentence for any outsider to so much as glimpse the city beneath its protective shroud of mists, for Xlanhuapec is sacred ground to the Lizardmen.

THE MAP:

Xlanhuapec, City of Mist is a lizardmen siege battle. There are three victory points that the attackers will need to conquer in order to defeat the defenders:

First is the Temple of Chotec, the old one that rules over sunlight. This temple controls the solar engine defensive array. These towers only target units outside so taking the temple isn´t a necessity once the city has been breached but it is the closest victory point.

Second is the Temple of Infinite Coils, where the slann mage priest Huah-Huah casts the spell that generates the mists that surround the city. Concentrated vapours emanate from the temple and can damage units in the inner rings, this means that attackers conquering the Temple of Chotec will be vulnerable to ranged damage if the ritual isnt stopped.

And finally the Temple of Eternal Serenity, towering over every other temple in the whole city. The great slann, lord Huinitenuchli, slumbers here, guarded by Chakax the Eternity Warden. This victory point is the farthest from the walls, but is in turn outside fire range of the Temple of Infinite Coils.

FAQ:

-Yes, much of the lore is from the (horrible) End Times.

-The map can be found under siege battles as “Xlanhuapec, City of Mist”.

-Attacker AI still has a few isuess, knowingly if all siege equipment is destroyed it sometimes stops the assault altogether.

Then again, that's probably because game updates. IDK

Slight issue, not sure what the deal is, but it's not showing up as a Siege Battle when I look under the folder, but instead under Land Battles, making it so I can't give the AI siege equipment.

Yes, I just have to get around making a wall-les version so that the map works when its occupied by WElfs or Norsca.

Will this be in the GCCM?

Looks pretty nice! Makes me think of Itza, although I think this is just because of the GCCM custom capital mod.

Oh I didnt think of that, will do.

It wouldn't have walls if you resettle it after it was destroyed, and it also won't have walls for Norsca/Wood elves! It's not necessary to make a version without walls, but it would be nice because then I could use that version for those situations :)

Just deleting the walls would probably be fine for that version

@Maruka do you mean as in for another settlement? if i recall Xlanhuapec is a major city in campaign so it should always have walls
