1.34x UPDATE

It's been a while since I've last updated this mod especially since the 1.33x update, SCS introduced not only several features but some settings had been separated into other files and paths which I believed had broken some mods already. I'd managed to dig through hundreds of thousands of ".sii" files to locate the actual file for adjusting the rain!

Mod Description

This mod increases rain spatter on your windshield by million times fold to simulate a more immersive trucking experience. Raindrops causes blur as well as distortion on your windshield, making it more challenging to see what's ahead! Not forgetting your side-mirrors! To achieve this, raindrops have been scaled down tremendously while blowing up the drop count to make it more realistic! With the new 1.33x update introduced by SCS, I was able to adjust raindrops trickling down the windshield instead of sticking on it like glue like it did in my previous versions. Mod also comes along with its own recorded, interior-rain SFX. For those extreme truckers out there who are sick of the mundane sights and sounds demanding a higher difficulty, grab this mod along with a special cargo to put your skills to the ultimate test!

Truckers should note that rain spatter effects vary from model to model. The windows and windshields are called "Glasses" and each truck has its own set of Glasses. For the extreme, drive a Peterbilt and you will know what I mean.

I had caught several modders copying my work which had identical values and spacings in their weather mods for 1.31x and 1.32x as well as rain texture files. Being the only 1.33x weather mod as of writing this post, should there exist any identical mod again I will abandon my work. Please respect my time and effort.
