Star Rift Update 10/11/2016
Thank you!
When we first saw the Oculus Rift we wanted to make that one game that completely utilizes the potential of virtual reality technology as well as the PC. We wanted the game to be a complete real world experience from beginning to end. Everything will be about depth, colors and experience. While getting that great experience we wanted to make a cool journey that forces you to experience great places in the universe. At times you may feel like you are on a roller coaster flying through space. Whether you have the Oculus Rift or not we want you to feel like you are really in the cockpit of the Centurion 7 fighter. From the ground up it has been all about the Oculus Rift. We are also hoping that the community will help make this an awesome space game to test the Oculus Rift.

This story is about Rod Conrad a test pilot for the Centurion Armada in the year 2099. Mankind just developed the first Star Rift Generator (SRG) that can transverse vast distances in a matter of minutes. While doing the very first test something terribly went wrong and instead of being around Jupiter, he has traveled thousands of light-years away. Rod has no clue where he is. Now he has to make more rift jumps to find his way home. He discovered that certain asteroids harnessed a type of energy that the SRG could use to make more jumps. Little did he know that he was about to partake in a journey that no man has ever been on before.

Current Features
-Oculus Rift compatible!
-Experience strange new places in the cosmos using the Oculus Rift or your regular computer monitor.
-The game is semi non-linear after making a jump you arrive in a solar system you can warp to different places in that solar system exploring and looking for those energy asteroids.
-Some areas in space are dangerous because of events that happen. Like super nova's, black holes, massive solar flares, cosmic collisions, gravity, and ancient technologies from civilizations long past like dangerous mines, and drones.
-Avoid and destroy asteroids to collect crystal energy fragments to make the next jump.
-Explore caves in asteroids while looking for deposits of energy crystals.
-Collect ancient artifacts.
-Discover asteroids with lots of different minerals like gold, ruby, copper, ice, and many more.
-Much more to come! We just started making this February 2013!

Planned Features
-Contact with new civilizations.
-Mine asteroids
-Ship upgrades
-Strange artifacts, stations, ships, drones and, civilizations of all kinds.
dangers from many different civilizations.
-Much more will be add closer to launch date. So check back!

I, Rod Conrad…
Am a test pilot for the Interplanetary Exploration Foundation (IEF)
While working for the Interplanetary Exploration Foundation (IEF). We built a Rift Generator that in theory would fold the fabric of space and time. We mounted it on a Centurion 7 spacecraft the Pride of the Fleet, so that we could cross great distances in just a few seconds or minutes depending on the distance...
Working with physicists on the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, we were able to come up with a low-energy generator that did just that. It takes low amounts of energy and focuses it like light through a lens by inducing exotic matial like Nano-Crystalline that has a positive energy density at a given time and flipping its polarities from positive to negative. Using the Planets Magnetic Fields and they’re gravity swirls
~~Electromagnetic Field Energy Density~~
I hope someone finds this and I hope I am still alive to answer questions…
On a near-earth trial run of the Interplanetary Rift Generator (IRG), everything seemed to be going great. Everything worked according to plan. No errors, or malfunctions were recorded. The rift opened and I went on through. But I didn’t end up at the proper location. According to the information we entered into the (IRG). I was supposed to be in orbit around Jupiter, then open another Rift to jump back to Earth's orbit.
But it did not happen according to plan…
Something terrible happened and it's up to me to find out what... So I can get back home...
P.S. So much for the chicken dinner tonight.
P.P.S. I hope Maggie forgives me for the twentieth time.
P.P.P.S. I hope someone stops by my house and feeds my dog, Sparks. Sorry, buddy.

Q: Where am I?
A: Unknown.
Well, I guess it can be called the Star Rift Generator now. It went way beyond the planets.
I do recall a surge in Magnetic Propagation, right as I was entering the rift. It could have something to do with Planetary Magnetic Fields. Hmm…
Signing off...
