Left 4 Dead 2 Survival Map


"This used to be our home... The police and military have defended the town from of the zombies for as long as they could. Now the defences is unmanned and the only thing that can stop the zombies are the residents. Luckily for them they have all the tools they need!"

A survival map set in the favela Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro. The strongest point is on the rooftops. But be careful a Tank will smash you to the ground. Even though the roof is the safest spot. You won't find any resources here. There is a pharmacy on the top of the stair where you will find all medical supplies. Then there is a abandoned police car with small arm fire. For the big guns you will have to go down to the football field where a military truck is packed with ammo and heavy fire arms.

I connected the nav mesh more and made some spawn points more accessible to the special infected. I hope it solves the issue.

The map is nicely designed, unfortunately it is completely broken though. Half the playable area is treated as "out of bounds" and will result in spitter acid spawning on the players, especially on the rooftops. The infected pathing is pretty broken too, as tanks and other SI often get stuck, especially when holding out on the rooftops the tanks can't seem to find a way to climb up.
There's also a few areas that let you get completely out of bounds, simply by walking accross narrow ways or jumping from a high area.
It looks nice, but it's a pretty small and cramped map, with no easy holdout spot, I personally like that, it makes the map tougher and easier than vanilla maps where you sit in one place and keep shooting. Unfortunately due to the spitbug that occurs seemingly everywhere on the map it's unplayable.
