Description
This is a small patch mod that edits one line in 00_defines.txt to make you have 4 civic choices in the empire creation screen. It is meant to be used with any of the Ethics and Civics Rebuild so you can choose 4 civics instead of 3, but it can also be used without those mods as well if you just want to have 4 civics per empire.

Use in combination with any of these mods, or by itself to have 4 civics. Note, pick only ONE to subscribe to and use.

This mod should be compatible with any other mod because it only edits one line from 00_defines.txt but it doesn't replace the file itself, so any other mod that alters 00_defines.txt should not be affected at all, unless they alter the line for how many civics picks you start with. Having the "!!" at the beginning of the mod names causes this mod to be loaded before any of the Overhaul or Rebuild mods so it works fine with them but overrides their 3 civic points and makes them 4 civics points.

Hello, Your mod doesn't seem to work anymore, As just yesterday it was working fine but now all my created Empires are invalid due to too many traits, I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing but that seemed to do nothing, Any solution on this or is this a new 'bug'?

But you also need to make sure ( via naming ) that your mod is loaded last and thus overwrites the values from other mods.

And while we're at it - trait points is ( past 2.0/2.1 the defines-entry doesn't work for that it seems to me ) in

species_archetypes/00_species_archetypes.txt

How do you edit the value so get 5 civic points instead of 4? I have dozens of mods and a few of them add civics you can't add during the game. I'm looked online and found nothing useful. Which file?

were some removed of recent? I remember one Civic that started with the Star Superstructure and a broken warpgate.

All you should have to do is edit this mod once you download it. When you click "subscribe", wait for it to download, then navigate on your computer to whicever drive you use (by default should be C:), then go to Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/281990/1352686320/!!extracivicrebuild.zip.
Once there, open it with any archiving software (WinRar, 7Zip, etc.). Inside, is a folder named "common". In that, there is another folder named "defines". Then in there is a file named "extracivicrebuild.txt". In this file, there is a "4". This number can simply be changed, then save the file.
