Purchased and Greenlit after reading about the easter egg. If anything, it's a great way to get publicity. Good luck!

Hahaha people find all kinds of ways to justify pirating this game. The mind is truly amazing.
It's 8 bucks, seriously, buy it if you plan on playing it.

the piracy easter egg makes me just want to pirate the game and wait for someone to post a patch that removes the annoying message (hex-value hacking like the oldschool days!)

when it's greenlit, I'll buy it.

also, it reminds me of Game Dev Story from Kairo Soft, available on android. really cool stuff

how can we tell how well this is doing on greenlight?
SludgeSage Apr 29, 2013 @ 6:54am
Gonna be totally honest here, the piracy easter egg is what made me want to get this. Take what little money I have immediately!

Ok Teddy Bear Softworks has been founded.
We started of with a Space/Action game on the PC called Bearstronauts. A simple sidescrolling shooter in which a bear shoots alien invaders. It did ok in reviews at around 5.75.
Focus was on gameplay, AI and audio. Development took 4 months and 1 week.
It was followed by Bearlympics, a sports simulation. Focus mostly on gameplay but strong audio was developed again for a memorable experience. It did better in reviews at 6.25.
The Bears of Avalon was a forray into Medieval RPGs. Story was something new and so was the G64 as a platform. The game, while doing well, showed this weakness: 5.5 in reviews.
But these three games gave me the experience to create my own engine. It cost 120k but Beargine v1 would revolutionize gaming.
recently the military strategy game Warbear: Tactics released on the PC with great hype and fantastic reception. With reviews at 8.25.

Now to decide what to do next.

Very clever prank, thats why I decided to buy it. People should be rewarded for innovative thinking and this was really funny!
