Description
An attempt to create a no-industry mod that was requested, and quite right too. But we're all learning modding and using mods together, and please forgive if this change creates problems

If anyone has a plan to make the area more realistic, with mines and processing plants etc in good locations - please let me know the chosen locations and I can change the map for everyone to enjoy

Might be that text file ID thing that Steam creates. Each map has its own folder here, but it looks as if Steam updated over the original folder

Hmmm, I am not sure why You are unable to upload the Industry Map. Let Me take a look and see what I can find out about it and I will post back as soon as I can.

Toker Mayday Mayday :)

I have two folders in the staging area, the original Gold Mountains and a Gold Mountains No Industry. But this map seems to have squeezed out the original and that may be bad for friends without the Add Industry mod. Any ideas how to get both maps recognised please?

On the other hand, maps with proper industries may be possible now the map.lua fix (add two industries off-map - now added) allows for more realistic maps

We all know who's to blame for this fiasco, see below :)

Hey Bresslaw, thanks for the mention Sir. I look forward to starting on this map as soon as I can.

Colorado yes kyle, it's in there somewhere, or will be soon now you mention it :)

This terrain forms part of the USGS mapping facility that your estimable country provides, free for all at the point of use. I'll try to dig out the actual location for you, it's fun when you can see your house from here yes. In the space of the map is the Gold Mountain or mountains - which caught my eye. The glinting, along with the Salt River. The gameplay element btw is the river for transporting all that gold - we don' need no steen-kin' barges!
