Description
This mod is an add-on component mod to The Zenith of Fallen Empires 2.0 and provides the functionality of starting with Fallen Empire ship sets, and Fallen Empire City sets available from the base mod. Note that this mod requires the base mod to run and no new ship classes are added.


Add-on Features:

  • Ability to start with 1 of the 16 Fallen Empire ship set color variants

  • Ability to start with 1 of the 16 Fallen Empire city sets

  • Fallen Empire Diplomacy room backgrounds

FAQ:

Q. Why are there blank portraits in Empire selection?

A. Any time you add a selectible ship set, the game spawns a category of portraits. In any case these 'portraits' are not meant to be selected. They do nothing, and this is the trade off of having FE ship models to start.

I was also wondering if there is a way to keep my original ship design instead of embracing the fallen empire design

Because there is a difference between the description saying a 'ship set' starting option, and a 'ship class' starting option. Arkship and Gunship are ship classes, just like Escorts, Battlecruisers, Titans etc - this add-on doesn't let you start with those either.

Hi, I love the mod, but it says you can use Original Empire ships, but they are just normal FE ships and don't look like the Gunship or Arkship. Why is that?

Damn, I was afraid of that. So there's no way to keep my machine FE shipset as an materialist AE.

@FormalUnicorn Yes, and no. The event will change the ship set regardless. Which ship set you change to depends on which option you picked. So it is also entirely possible that you used a Spiritualist 01 ship set, ascended as a spiritualist galactic superpower, and then you end up keeping the ship set as you simply changed back into the same graphical culture.

Hey, out of curiousity, do your shipsets still change when you Ascend, even when starting with an FE shipset?
