Description
Layout/Gameplay test build.

Extendet version of the well known Quake1 map E1M7 "The House Of Chthon".

Filenames:
13house_a1.bsp
13house_a2.bsp (current version)

Gametypes: FFA Duel TDM CA Oneflag FT RR
Player: 3-6 (per team)
Botsupport: Not yet

Start: \map 13house_a2 ffa


Note:
This map is only a Layout/Gameplay test build. A BETA & final release comes in the near future.

@VoidForce: Yes, I made the RA area less dangerous by adding a small bridge over the lava. Leading to a lift and a hallway, connecting to the LG room.

Hello again. Shaft room looks like dead end. Player can be trapped in here. You can add teleport in this place, just for test. Red Armor place is too risky and it is too easy to push player from the edge to lava. Maybe it's interesting, but punishment is too much. Everything else is good. )

@VoidForce: The map is atm only a gameplay test build. Proper texturing, more details & lighting will be done later. Also a CTF version is already planned. :)

Impressive work! I really like how you did rethink plan of original map and extend it. Narrow windows is a greate idea. It has very good perspective to become competitive duel map or even CTF map. Of course you need to polish it a bit. I didn't like some of the textures (tile effect is too harsh). Doors and archway above them is too simple and Q2-like. Light a bit dark, sometimes not so smooth, and should be more contrast (maybe it's only on vertex light mode, which i played). Maybe you can add more red light above the lava. But anyway, impressive work! I like it!

p.s. Overview picture is ugly, ( :D ) compare to what map is really looks like.
