How to uncap FPS
By Lord Waifu, Slayer of Diamonds
If you are like me, then you would like to push more than 60 fps. To do this go to your Steam User folder. In your User folder, there should be one folder unless you have multiple users. Inside that folder find the 543900 folder and open the Local folder. Right click the SSD_GRAPHICS_CONFIG file and search for framerate_control and change it from "Auto" to "Variable" and you can go over 60.
If you edit your settings you have to redo this!

Example default pathway: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(Your User Profile)\543900\local

You should run the game first if you haven't. Otherwise I do not know why the file would not be there. If you did try running the game, then try to edit your graphics settings and saving them, see if that creates the file.

@Jet Fox PhD
I have been using this from the start, so I can't say for sure if it affects the game. But I personally haven't noticed anything.

Have you noticed anything change with the game logic similar to the weapon degradation being doubled in Dark Souls when you uncap the framerate? Thirst and hunger meters still going down at the same speed?

I was pulling anywhere between 85-95ish fps constantly with all the settings maxed out.
My specs if you're interested are:
GTX 1080 overclocked at +200 Core and Memory clock speed.
i7-7700k overclocked to 4.6GHz - Watercooled with a H100i
16GB of DDR4 3000MHz RAM
and an AORUS GA-Z270x-Gaming K7 MOBO

How many FPS did you manage to get?
