Description
This is an API mod that enables the completion page for mod characters so creators of these mods could customise it to their liking and to have something to display any unlocks the player may have.

This is done by reimplementing the main paper graphic of the pause menu, so a custom completion note can be rendered above it.

This only appears in the ingame pause menu, it is impossible for me to add a working completion note to the character selection screen.

This works for all mod characters, no support needed. However, marks will not be added retroactively.


This mod should be fully compatible with Revelations' reimplemented My Stuff page and icons.

The api can also be bundled in a mod without requiring a download from this steam workshop page. Read the documentation.txt for details.

once i feel more proper motivation to work on isaac modding i may do this. nicalis sure has fun mod support huh?

So I've found a bug with how the TBOI steam workshop works on Linux, the gist of it is that (seemingly at random??) capitalization gets discarded and thus the whole mod is rendered useless. For example "CompletionNoteAPI" gets changed to "completionnoteapi" and the Lua call to "scripts.CompletionNoteAPI.completionnotes" fails. Basically I'm begging you to update the mods which implement capital letters in names so I don't have to bother with setting up a renaming script which runs at game start in order to prevent steam from restoring the wrong capitalization. I realize that this is not a problem that you are obligated to fix, and I'm in the process of sending a bug report email to Nicalis, but for the time being it would be nice if you were to apply this workaround.

i made a workaround for some big bug, really annoying that it wasnt working before

I've tried deleting and redownloading multiple times, same with Adam + Expansion, and the bug still persists. I'll just play without as I don't have many character mods (only Adam and Revelatons)

steam also stores the workshop files in C:\Program Files "(x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop", this mod's files would be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\250900\1297540365"

(or wherever else you have your steam folder)

Can you tell me the steps to deleting this mod completely? I will redownload it to see if it'll fix it.
I know th steps of unsubscribing and deleting the mod folder in My Documents, but there's one more step right?

i updated the mod with a high metadata version, i doubt this will fix your issue but if by some miracle it does then do tell

I did what you told me, I deleted a save1.dat and a save2.dat but the problem still occurs. It's only on Sarah and Dante.

in the same folder where you found the main.lua, there should be a save.dat or equivelent. delete it. what completion note api says you have completed will be reset, but since its erroring in the first place then it would probably be better off that way if it ends up working after this
