i know the diffrence, but the problem is it seems to effect the battle movement for some reason.

Dude, please please tell me you know the difference between CAMPAIGN MOVEMENT RANGE and BATTLE RUNNING / MOVEMENT SPEED.

okay dude the mod needs a patch. it is fun to mess around with but the effects are not good, it causes units to act stupid as hell and they don't really follow orders too often and to add on to it range units are effected even (tecnically) the ninja unit. in siege attacks units barely climb up walls even out of the sieges units dissappear or are across the map somewhere else.
Side Note: it's not the devs i removed the mod and loaded up the save for the campaign
and it worked just fine, no errors or problems

why are you complaning about that in this page? go ask CA to fix their crappy battle AI, not me. I do agree with it though.

needs to fix the AI in in-game battle, archers go really really close to kill the enemies and the yari ashigarus can not attack and run away without routing
