Marine Inventory Speeds
By It's Super Effective!
This is a detailed chart of the speed levels that a marine can gain or lose depending on his weapon loadout.

What can be gathered from this is that it is worth while as a marine to run with your axe out, and if nessesary run with lighter and/or less weapons if you're feeling dangerous :)

This can be important if you need to travel large distances, or to respond to a threat quickly. Every second counts, so make the right choices.

I created this chart while I was doing research for my next NS2 Tactical Operations video.

if you havn't seen it already you can check them out in my profile's video section, this game's guide section, or on youtube, happy fragging!

Axe and Pistol now have the same speed

Readyroom doesn't limit the marine speed the same way it does in-game, I can bunny hop as a RR Marine whereas I cannot in-game. Staying afloat in RR with a JP is not a valid argument, as you simply cannot in-game.

aka run with your axe :gorge:

I disagree, it affects the ammount of time you can stay airborne. Try a jetpack in the ready room, you stay aloft for like 5 minutes if you pulse right

Perhaps, but it seems needless as you have a jetpack already, tossing weapons isn't going to make or break a deal when racing to something.

You should compare jetpack speeds/lift as weapons affect that also
