Description
A modified version of cp_powerhouse made to revive the scrapped middle of the map. It also fixes some blunders in the map like RED Spawns missing glass in the skylight. Original map made by Valve. I found out about the scrapped features thanks to TF2 youtuber Ace TheOcarinaMaker.

I got this map up on a server. One of blue's spawn doors is broken and missing. Red side also has a window that's able to be jumped and shot though, where blueside's is solid

@ІnhеrіtеdЅру for starters "my map" seems pretty bold since powerhouse was orignally developed by valve and even then the entire idea only got started because of the video Ace released.

The zone you opened up is exterior detail. It has some remains of dev brushes but these are out of the way to never be seen. As such the area is not suited for combat but the trend of making these powerhouse pro's are attempting to make these detail sets gameplay areas without making them adhere to gameplay. The water is basiclly a death sentance due to slowdowns and height advantage, as such it will never be crossed unless its absolutely safe or if classes can subvert it through rocket jumping. There is also a heavy lack of gemoetry to play around within the new area, once again limited to 2 side paths and the water cutting it down the middle. It makes the area overall visually dull whilst offering nothing to gameplay. Even the windows you opened up offer little for gameplay within this zone.

The tweaks you have done open up a lot of audacious flanks that distrupt the flow of the match without actually addressing the core problems powerhouse as a map faces. For the most part these chokes are far too tiny to be servicable for anything other then a flank route that gets used like once or twice before teams start to crack down and prevent anything from occouring, which once again is simple thanks to how tiny they are.

All of this is also ignoring the many lighting issues scatterd around the turbines due to the decompiled vmf being used. These are pretty blatant and should of been fixed many iterations ago before being shipped out and just end up coming off as sloppy. Other issues include area portal brushes that are not set up propper being visible to the user on the blu side of upper control room looking into the mid house.
