British Gated Level Crossing

British Gated Level Crossing, for single or double track and roads with up to 4 lanes total.

Available: Always
Max Speed: 124mph (200 kph)

The version with Side Gates is intended for streets with pedestrians.

The road should at close to a 90° angle to look best. Diagonals or more tracks or lanes will work but look very strange.

(If you're as easily confused as me; to change the crossing type, you have to click on the existing crossing object to open the selection dialog.)

There's no expiry date, it's always available.

Does this crossing have an expiry date? My game has reached 1980 and suddenly I can't find any gated crossings! : (

@Norfolk_Chris - Killakanz did a UK Semaphore Signal and I know when he brought out some modern signals recently, so he may have plans to add more types of old signals. I hadn't got round to looking a more lines for the this crossing, but suspected that the 2 track one should ok with more tracks.
Norfolk_Chris Jan 22 @ 1:45am
Could you do a GWR lower quadrant signal? There is a British upper quadrant signal avaiable but the GWR and BR(WR) never used upper quadrant signals.
PS: Your level crossing can be used lines with more than 2 tracks, and looks OK.

mally6659@ - If you search for "GWR" you'll find my brake van for freight trains and my two types of boggie carriage have a brake/guard's carriage version included. Killakanz "Mk1" coaches also have brake versions. There no british signal box as yet, but if you search "Interlocking" there's one that won't look too out of place on a British map.
