How to HIDE URL previews

This guide explains how to remove the annoying URL preview from the links on your profile!

Note

This method works in any text box, even in the summary.

Step 1

Click HERE or go to your steam profile and click "Edit Profile"

Step 2

Copy the URL of the website you want to hide and paste it in the summary or in any textbox, for example the custom infobox like this:

[url=https://example.cоm]Example[/url]

You can also add a custom text between the codes.

Now, remove one slash after http or https from the URL. The new code should be like this

[url=https://example.cоm]Example[/url]

Step 3

Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Result

Now your link should looks like this:
