Description
PIXELGRAPHER'S FILMIC LIGHTING MOD

A graphics mod that Improves colour grading by mimicking a Filmic tonemapping transform, which is closer to how film would react to light in real life. This helps to avoid blown-out highlight areas by increasing the target white point. The overall image is much softer and lower in contrast than the default colour transform. In addition, this mod removes the bloom effect for better image clarity and improves climates for greater realism.

This is the ATS version. Click here for the ETS 2 version.
If you like bloom, click here.
if you like dark nights, click here

REQUIRES HDR ENABLED!
If you feel that the overall contrast is too low, I recommend coupling this mod with a SweetFX or Reshade preset.

Compatible with version 1.35.
Not compatible with Realistic Graphics Mod or any other mod that modifies weather and climate. This does not, however, include mods that change sunset and sunrise timings such as Actual Day-/Nighttime Mod. Pure texture mods should also be unaffected.

Feedback is appreciated.

Any update coming? Seems broken as there are blown out areas, everywhere.

With the last update the mod stopped working for me, hope the author fix it, as it was the only graphic mod I needed for ATS.

To add to what Matthews said, I think bloom is back as well

Love this mod, it makes the game look so much better and the makes the chrome look like actual chrome. Game update 1.36 did mess up some things though as SCS modified things regarding HDR, the chrome looks darker and overall brightness is lower too. Just wanted to point it out and see if there's a fix possible to get it back like before. Thanks for your hard work man, it makes me enjoy the game a lot more.

too much sunny weather, not for me, unfortunately.

I can confirm that this mod works with the dx 11 rendering in the experimental beta branch 1.35. I will report crashes though if they occur.

Thank you so much for the quick update. It works as expected!

@xÐoþe I've released a new update. Provided SCS hasn't made any drastic changes to the climate system, this should work. Please let me know if you experience any crashes.

Is there a temporary fix to make this work on 1.35 experimental? Can't play without this mod :P
