What it does
This mod creates a timer which keeps track of the time of day, then it changes the atmospheres where the player is located to match that time of day. The weather currently has only 4 random settings (fog, rain, heavy rain, sunny). There are areas which I excluded on purpose since it's not fitting in those areas (like desert).

I used a blue night setting to make the ground a little more illuminated at night - since the game wasn't designed for this and true black night would make it nearly impossible to see where you're going.

Bedroll
Using a bedroll will increase time by 1 in-game hour (will work even if you are already 'rested').

Current time settings
1 in-game hour = 3 mins
Day/Night = 10 in-game hours each (30 mins each)
Dusk/Dawn = 2 in-game hours each (6 mins each)

Shadows
If shadows start flickering between phases, you can turn your shadows on high quality to smooth them out.


Note: This mod doesn't work on for the last area of the game (it doesn't fit well with it so I left it out). Also it's not compatible with tilt camera mods because of the box probe I had to use to soften the shadows. There is also an area in Reapers Coast that is always sunny since one of the quests wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Just a small update:
I have managed to find a way to fix the shadows (turns out the mod name was too long which broke the light probes - very odd). I'm still testing and tweaking, but I will have the mod moved to DE in the next few days I think.

This mod, and Sourcery Worthy of a Collar, is among the modest list of mods that are a "must" for me to have before I begin my next vanilla-ish and modified playthrough of this game.

I figured out how to get my files to extract this morning. I'm going to begin on moving this to DE after work. It will take at least a few days to complete since I'm going to try to fix the shadows and other issues based on feedback.

Yeah this is by far my favorite mod, it just brings the game to life. Sadly cant find a DE version...

Looks like in the game-news, Larian Studios updated the mod tools last wednesday. Might be worth looking into.

IF you guys manage to find the problem it ould be evry cool if this mode could posibly included into tzhe GM mode.

This is an awesome mod. Especially for the GM mode it could help out the Game Master to not click around to much just to change to the correct atmosphere.
