Rabbids are large, crazy rabbit-like creatures who like to cause havoc and mischief. So, for no good reason, they decided to eat the entire RimWorld.

Rabbids will enter the map, breed like mad, eat like mad - and provide you with a lot of food (if you can manage them).

Thanks to "Sadie, An Inebriated Husky" for reminding me about doing this mod which I actually had pondered about half a year ago.

Have fun!

@Rincewind - give it a try, let me know!

hm i think they are not worst if they have fair cost. i playing in tropical biome and it's loot of food for them. Especially with fertility mod or with deadly forest. So you can limit their area and sell them with caravan if you have city nearby. Slavers like to buy pets, so if children automatically belongs to player it's can be profitable, lol.

i should try i guess. heh

@Rincewind - They are like the worst kind of pets to have... LOL

No, it's pointless to tame them unless you want to sell them fast. Point is to hold them in fenced area while untamed :). It's extra source of meat for free.

@Rincewind - Yeah, they are like a weird kind of double edge sword... I dun really think they meant to be tamed as an army, like my smurf mod or minions mod. You tamed them?

Was funny to see how they starting starving after eated whole area and wait for death of their rabbids-bros. One dead, but like ten others is happy :)
I am wondering if they can be self sustain in locked area with fast growing grass and such. Like jungle or other warm biomes. They eat anything on sight and multiply -> food is over, they starting dieng -> population deacreased to minimum, but grass grown again.Repeat.
Only winter is problem, they will die without food.

Outside fun they are not profitable to kill for meat. Gain is too small for walking so far. So they are can be useful when you need to visit area full of predators (they are walking cannon fodder for them). Also was funny to see how fast they eaten fresh dropped colonist. There almost no time to save them :D.

@Rincewind - Rabbids is a form of infestation - thus they spreads like virus and eat everything on your map.

Coding wise, its simple. Zombie mod's zombies have more intricate navigation codings - thus too many of them may lag your system.

Rabbid Counter - hmm... sounds like a good idea.

well have about 200 atm and there no such perfomance loss like i had with zombies. Suggestion : make rabbids counter like zombyland mod have. Just to know how much of them here :)
