What does Coxis ServerMessage do?
With Coxis ServerMessage (short: CSM) you, as in the serveradmin can display any text-information for your players that you want. This text will be displayed for every connecting player in a modal window. The player can still play the game, but the window will stay atop. If the player clicks the OK-button the window will close.

How do I (=Serveradmin) edit the text?
That's pretty simple: With the mod ships a CSMrules.txt, you can add your text there. Be careful to not make this to long at the moment (will get changed in a future update).

Have been looking into the command stuff and it's pretty hardcoded into the game. jianmingyong developed a way to do custom commands but it's not yet in a proper standalone mod to integrate it.

Until then, no command for this. But I will try to find another way...

It might be a good idea to add in some sort of command that will allow players to display the message again, if they clicked ok too quickly.

To the admins reading this, I highly recommend using notepad++ to edit the server message txt file. Using basic notepad doesn't detect the line breaks.

Pretty much undoable with the shipped translation system (the translation has to be in a lua file, which then destroys the lua-checksum). I'm currently doing it this way on the project-zomboid.de server:
I wrote the rules first in german and then in english.

Translation for what exactly? Only thing that could be translated is the "Ok"-button, which should be pretty selfexplanatory to everybody (?)

u be the best awesom esay and cool mods fine jupjup if i can make some mods i will make the / move in the house and get shooted mod thats was fine=but only for zombies u know like no home the move answer request a move and shoot the zombies thats was fine? u kan make this and i try it than i say wats wrong or still fine /with some bugs or else ok? call me at steam thx Edelstahl i am ur follower

Thanks for the compliment BoNT! That's why i made them, have more ideas like a chopper dropping a crate with loot, but coding time is limited due to project-zomboid.de.

Want to change this to a text-box with scrollbar in the next version (can't tell when this will be ready, have some other adjustments in mind too).

So far no problems on DeadPixels. Just working on the formating since I'm just guessing right now.
