ok, I suggest the Anesthetic Gun(Tranquilizer Gun)!


this MOD add the anesthetic gun(tranquilizer gun) to your RimWorld. the added gun is very low power, but its bullets decrease the athletic ability and consciousness to the hit opponent. you can stun the target by hitting the bullet many times. so you can neutralize the target with less damage with this gun. basically, the heavier the weight, the more bullets are needed to neutralize it.


be careful, this anesthetic gun is not a non lethal weapon. if you hit many bullets that exceeds the lethal dose, the target will surely die. bullet has no effect to the target if it could not penetrate the armor(or skin). bullet has no effect to mechanoid.


New Items

Anesthetic Gun (麻酔銃)

An ancient pattern bolt-action rifle. This shoot the anesthetic bullet. It is low power, but it can neutralize the target with less damage.

A) I'd mistake the MOD's name, because I'm not good at speak English. Tranquilizer gun is better, but now change to new name is too late, because if I changed MOD's name, affect many people's save data.

継続的な更新を行うために、多くのソースコードをリファクタリングしました。RimWorld 1.0 以前のバージョンに切り替えることができなくなったため、RimWorld 1.0 向けの更新を終了します。
refactored many source codes again for continuous update. I cannot switch RimWorld's version to 1.0, so I finish update this MOD for RimWorld 1.0.

old patch file were left, so I removed those.

試験的に RimWorld 1.3 テスト版に対応しました。
this MOD has supported for RimWorld 1.3 unstable experimentally.

@tikubon great mod man. I only have one issue. If you have Ducks' Insane Skills and have a 20+ crafting colonist, then you can't craft the anesthetic gun because it only allows colonists with 5-20 crafting skill.

I like the other tranquilizer mod, but this gun has been with me since the first version of this modd appeared.

hi tikubonn, just to let you know i tried the mod without rimthreaded and it works great again. (i will try and get it it fixed in that mod)

i got errors 1 time anytime tranq someone, but lowering it almost to the very bottom of the mod list fixed it, could always try that :3

I don't support MOD conflict.
because RimWorld has many MODs, so I cannot resolve all MOD conflicts.

If I feel like it.
but I cannot promise it, because I never used Combat Extended.

hi tikubonn, can i check if this mod is still working ok?

i have been shooting lots of people and animals as a test, but after about 30 injuries, there i no buildup of anesthetic... only bloodloss. (are there any mods known to conflict at all? i was also testing with rimthreaded)

I get some red error about hediff, and when try shot the weapon change to my other in inventory (Simple side arms), the second try works but fires 2 bullets, maybe is incompatibility by other mod.

this is absolute best mod, the idea i had for the game sice day 1. I play with Combat Extended and it still works. I just wish it could be implemented in combat extended. I see you no longer work on this, so I'll just keep shouting in an empty room and maybe universe will hear that it would be so cool to have this mod patched for combat extended and use anesthetic bullets.. Hope some modder will consider creating this
