Horses Ignore Combat!

Player owned horses now IGNORE ALL COMBAT!!! This includes Frost and Shadowmere. No more charging up a tower to attack. No more running away to an unknown location. They literally stand there as if nothing is happening, even while being attacked.

Does not apply to normal stolen horses, wandering horses, or any other horse not owned by the player.

Park your horse in a safe location before engaging multiple enemies when possible. They will not run away or attempt to defend themselves. Though, horses have a decent amount of health and will not die easily if you're smart about it. It's really not a concern unless (for example) you ride your horse into the middle of a bandit fort and 5 or 6 of the bandts are targeting the horse (as pictured in the screenshot). I also make it a habit to save when parking my horse, just in case, but I have not had a single horse die with this mod. They always got themselves killed trying to attack things and that has been eliminated.

WORKS with Faster Vanilla Horses mod, without conflict. (thanks Illiani)

WORKS with Deacon's Frostier Frost. Just put HIC above DFF in the load list or the new white texture will not show.
***DFF will also make Frost "essential" aka unable to be killed***

DOES NOT WORK with The Real Shadowmere mod. (thanks Them Nutz)

Horses Ignore Combat combined with Faster Vanilla Horses really has made my horse like my best friend in Skyrim, and increased the immersion factor for me. I rarely if ever use quick travel and cart travel now. No hesitation to take my trusty steed anywhere I need to go.

Updated the mod title to reflect the file name: horsesignorecombat.esp, to avoid any confusion with the addition of the new load order system.

Any questions, comments, or problems please let me know.

Give it a thumbs up and Enjoy!

Okay, maybe the fact of a horse... attacking a tower or dragon, isn't quite "realistic".
But ALSO, is not realistic of BEEN ATTACKED... and staying still, doing nothing. What are they (the horses), mindless... vehicles?!

@☠P볕nixQueen🎃BlockAllFuckBoys☣ I just tested it, and the mod is still working as it should. You need to check for conflicting mods (i.e., other horse modifications) or change your mod load order.
I would love to say this worked, but instead of simply defending itself when attacked and then running to battle with me, horse goes straight for any danger nearby, attacking or Not attacking me or any followers. I subscribed to this, and then my horse pursued unprovoked combat after i parked it, any thoughts on this??? im definitely unsubscribing but i would like the author to know this experience, maybe fix it?

@Khogn They may not be compatible. You might try changing the load order for the 2 mods.

I have horse armor mod and my Frost attacked a bunch of enemies, so it does not work. Not together at least.
