Description
Colt Model 610 (XM177 or GAU-5/A) aka Colt Commando, made by merging together the "M16" and "Commando" models from Call of Duty: Black Ops. While there were flat top exprimental models, none looked like the fictional low-profile solid Picatinny rail. All scopes were mounted on the non-removeable carry handle on the normal versions.

Replaces the "M-16 Assault Rifle" on trigger_hurt's animations from his M16 Overhaul.

One of my first compiles. I got an amiable permission from most authors to borrow their animations, and I'll be damned if I didn't try to ask. I have even further improved smoothing and phong, except I feel obliged to apologize for a semi-annoying remaining smoothing error on the carrying handle. Complaints, suggestions, and applications are welcome, as is constructive criticism.

Lovely lil' Carbine you fashioned here. I do like how you took into consideration a wide array of animations and riggered THEM ALL to the Gamemaps download. Marvelously done.

Is that an FN FAL/L1A1 for the AK I see there in the third to last image panel? Another project you'll inevitably deliever? :3c

They are located in materials\signs\ and are named like sign_gunshop_(weapon).vtf

It isn't hard to paint them over with new text or even replicate them in higher resolution.

@Scar, you pretty much answered your own question, this is already done by F.F.F.Doober. Further duplication of the same concept are unnecessary. Plus, I have sent him the darker texture version, so he might update it someday. Also, as you might have noticed, I am a newbie compiler; I cannot do jigglebones yet, for example.

The sole reason of this "XM177" existing despite both BO M16 and Commando being already done by other authors is my penchant for realism. There is no place for a far-fetched top rail on a Vietnam-era AR-15, let alone the Troy back-up iron sight. For the same reason I have installed the Colt scope onto the carrying handle, just like it is mounted IRL.
