Guanlong Dossier [FANMADE]
""Everyone's Favourite Feathered Fiend"

Species - Guanlong ftreolepides
Time - Jurassic
Diet - Carnivore
Temperament - Aggressive

The Guanlong ftreolepides are a strange species of predator, being related to the mighty Tyrannosaurus but only slightly larger than a dilophosaur. They are of a nocturnal variety living in caves only to venture out & hunt at night. They also have a strange behaviour where they brush their tails against mineral rocks sharpening their tail feathers.

Though not large enough to ride, Guanlong have proven to be extremely versatile having a variety of roles to play. They’re fully capable to coordinate attack patterns up close or from a distance. They can guard your homes as brutally fierce guard dogs. And It is also an interesting fact that their feathers can substitute arrows as an alternative.

The Guanlong are creatures of relentlessness & grim intentions. They possesses uniquely shaped proto-feathers on its tail that are as sharp as razors, capable of using them to slash at prey or even foes causing lacerations & serious blood loss. These feathers can also be fired at alarming speed & force from their tails causing devastating damage.

Trivial Notes:

It's name Guanlong ftreolepides is a reference to it's method of attacks. Ftreo meaning "Feather" & Lepides meaning "Blades" in Greek, its name would roughly translate as "Five coloured crowned dragon who throws feather blades". Most likely a reference to how it launches feathers from it's tail as a method of attack.

Like the Megalosaurus & the Troodon, Guanlong are nocturnal hunters. Guanlong can only be seen not far outside of their caves once dusk shrouds the island hunting animals the size of a Parasaur using nimble speed & utility to overwhelm its prey. It's also has been noted that like the Troodon they flee from Survivors that are equipped with a torch.

The Feathers of the Guanlong can be used as throwing knives & are also an ingredient to creating "Piercing Arrows". Both ammunition causes the Gnashed status effect similar to the Giganatosaurus & the Allosaurus.

The Guanlong is actually a species of Tyrannosaurid called Proceratosauradae belonging to a clade with Proceratosaurus, Sinotyrannus & Kileskus."
