JSRS SOUNDMOD - Dependency Fixes

Description
This is a small selection of each JSRS-Soundmod Patch that was made.

When ever you have safed a mission, safed a game or what ever you do with JSRS
being loaded and then maybe try to load it with a newer version of JSRS or play
without JSRS even, and one of the JSRS-Soundmod Patches was dependent to
load/edit the mission, so you cannot coninue playing without JSRS, you simply do the
following steps:

1. Disable all JSRS Soundmods / JSRS Addons
2. Only load the JSRS Dependency Fix Addon
3. Load the mission, your game or whatever you were doing where you got stuck because of missing JSRS
4. Save the mission / game again
5. Exit game, disable the JSRS Dependency Fix Addon
6. Restart game, everything should be "JSRS Free" from now on

Now you can load, edit and save the mission without this dependency! Should also work for all sorts of safed missions, SP and MP!

ANY REUPLOADS (STANDALONE OR PART OF MODPACKS) TO THE STEAM WORKSHOP (ARMA3 & DAYZ) ARE EXPLICITLY PROHIBITED AND VIOLATE THE STEAM SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT SECTION 6D! REUPLOADS WILL BE TAKEN DOWN VIA DMCA NOTICE WITHOUT WARNING!

ie in this case step 2) means load Arma without any SRS sound mods (leaving the other mods in the mission loaded as required),

(but this works for any mods you want removed from a mission)

FYI:If anyone has specifically written a mission that refers to sound files directly in an SRS mod its possibly going to break, You should not do that when making missions...

Try this (make a backup 1st) of your mission.
(if its in PBO format you will need to unpack it with a tool like PBO Manager.)

steps
1) make a backup copy of the mission with dependency problem
2) load Arma with the mods u want (less the ones u want removed from the mission)
3) In editor save a new blank mission on same map
4) Then on file menu select merge and select the mission you made a backup of, that has mods u don't want in it.
5)This will merge the two and remove any extra mods from this new mission (ie any mods not currently loaded with Arma are removed from the merged mission). So now editor has a merged copy in memory u can save. (it will complain during merge sometimes about missing mods , just close these errors)

(of course if the mission logic needs these mods to run they will now be gone, but that should not be the case for JSRS SOUNDMOD)

Does this still work? I'm getting an error related to JSRS_CUP_Weapons_Support everytime I try to launch a mission in our dedicated server and it's become unplayable even though that mod is installed.

Strange that I don't even have JSRS loaded as a mod, and now my WW2 campaigns will not load because there is no JSRS mod loaded - even though the mod wasn't loaded when I made the campaign, and isn't required to open the campaign in the editor, only to play. what the hell! lol

I tried this fix, and does not work.

Having an issue with jsrs_soundmod_cup_weapons. Is this still getting updates?

i keep getting and error saying glock 17 file and pkm file have been deleted. i did everything as instructed but it still will not work. every time i open a senario dependent on this mod i get the same error code?

Well, I ran into this dependency issue last night. I could not load my saved editor without the sound mod so I found this solution for dependency fix. I did exactly as instructed but it does not work. I tried to load saved game and still says required content not download. Even worse, I cannot load my saved game now at all, with or without sound mod. almost 200 hours on this one, please....help.

Currently, yes. Please design your missions without JSRS loaded in order to prevent any problems. I try to keep the log clean but sometimes JSRS writes itself in their after some base class updates and it stays within your dependencies.

We need to do that for each mission individually right?
