Show hair for all hats.

Select which hats do hide hair from Mod Settings.

Hide All Hats from Mod Settings

Will work with mods that add new hats

Supports current saves and can be removed without breaking saves

Supports current saves and should work with all hats added by mods.

When changing whether a hat hides hair, if a pawn is wearing that hat their portrait will not update until they change something (like remove/put back on the hat).

This seems a wee bit buggy with scarves and maybe a few other face items like glasses from Apparello 2. I disabled hair showing with the headset with bandana as it looks a bit silly which was fine, then when I equip a bandit scarf the hair comes back. Only way I can get it to work is by disabling hair on the scarf too but then that makes the rest of my colonists who have scarves on look weird. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that and I'm sure it's been mentioned before but regardless, love your mod and all the work you put in.

I get that as well, Regularity. It seems to fire with mod races, but it's definitely noticable in Zetrith Multiplayer.

So I've recently picked up Rimworld again and while using Apparello 2 and this little mod here, something went bonkers and the hats are no longer hidden no matter the combo of options selected or seemingly mod order, I've tried putting Apparello first, this second and vice versa at the beginning of the mod list/at the end. But no matter what I do the hats appear anyway...

I've encountered an "unknown crown type: undefined" event spam (like 10 instances per second) from non-standard alien races. Since it only occurs when hats are worn, I suspect this mod may be the cause. Is there some method of editing either this mod, or the alien race mods in question, to prevent this error from cropping up?

@Zombra Facial Stuff has visual options for all sorts of things, including taking hats off in bed. If you really wanted to you could turn off all the actual facial animation stuff and just use it for that.

You could try "Change Dresser"; it won't make the hats disappear, but you can give your colonists hatless outfits to change into for when they sleep.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe worth a go?

I'm trying to find a mod that makes hats disappear visually when pawns are sleeping. Anyone know of something like that?
