The NGTC mod is brought to you by the Next Gen Mod Team. Updated to v0.99 introducing IBL shaders, new physics, new tyres and much more, see the changelog for all details..

Cars are fully DX11 compatible and feature IBL shaders, rain/damage effects, working wipers, new CPM tyres. We have also started to update the car skins to 4K resolution but this will be a rolling project. Thus far the 2019 and 2020 cars have been done plus any older that feature chrome textures.

Please note due to the new physics and tyres aimed at better replicating the current NGTC performance, Old setups may not work and the cars are tricky on cold tyres but far better to push hard once temps are up. These cars may no longer be on a competitive par with the S397 2013 Honda Civic also due to the changes and the 7 year gap in performance.

**This mod and car models are free to use for personal use only. No part of the mod or its content may be re-distributed nor used for commercial purposes without express permission from the NGMT team. Nor may this mod or any part of it be altered, converted or used in any other means, this includes modelling, physics and car skins. On-line leagues are permitted to create their own custom skins for use within their private league use only. **

Many thanks to Thomas, Andy, Matt, Chris, Tyrone, and the rest of the test team for the hard work in the NGMT team as well as the BVTCC series run by World Series Racing for putting the mod through its paces in extensive competitive conditions.

If anyone wishes to donate to the teams efforts and future work, details on how to do so via the Worldseriesracing.com website or the following PayPal link

These are all new physics and far closer to represent current NGTC specifications. The old cars had too much downforce, these mirror reality far closer, and they can be harder to drive on opening laps so need a lap or two before you can push, please bear this in mind. As for hopping around on the straight, not something we've experienced so unsure what this is. Check or tune your setup and FFB settings would be my suggestion

Hello. I really enjoyed the BTCC (FWD) Cars in the past, driving the MG 6 in a little btcc league. Unfortunately I have big problems with the car handlings since last update.. the steering feels strange, hopping around from the left to the right on flat straights.. is there an option to change this behaviour? The driving experience is not the same like before the update.. to a negative thing .. at least for me =( hope to see the old physics again..

@bruceiow Have you tried moving the brake bias forward and adding more rear wing? These new cars have been updated to reflect the pace of the real BTCC, so you may find you have to change your inputs from 0.95

Waaaaaay too tail happy to be enjoyable. Wants to swap ends at the touch of the brake. Shame, as pretty much perfect otherwise.

anyone have a setup to stop the rear end from snapping every time in medium speed corners?

About the last update: Why all these wing options, if the car looses the rear no matter what you do in setup? And these rear ARB values doesn't make any sense. Force feedback saturating all over the place.
