Description
Think the Fall 2017 patch screwed over Skirmishers? Here's a defensive buff for them, plus the other Faction Heroes!

Skirmisher - Ablative Armor: Unlocks at Squaddie rank; gain one point of Armor and 50% explosive damage reduction.
Reaper - Strong Defense: Unlocks at Corporal rank; enemy damage is reduced by 2 when in cover and attacked through that cover.
Templar - Hardened: Unlocks at Corporal rank; enemy attacks against Templars suffer a -50 penalty to critical hit chances.

If you like this, try out some of my other mods:
-Squaddie XCOM Skills - All the features of WOTC: Ranger and Grenadier Rebalanced, plus a bunch of LWS Perk Pack skills to make all your soldiers that much better.
-WOTC: Ranger and Grenadier Rebalanced - Get Implacable and Suppression as a Squaddie abilities, then an AOE Suppression ability on Grenadiers and a detection radius reduction for Rangers at higher ranks.
-Exclude Same Class Skills - avoid rolling your base game class' own skills in the XCOM skill tree.
-Rapid Fire Reverted - gets rid of the unmentioned cooldown on the WOTC version of Rapid Fire.
-Pistols Rebalanced - feel pistols are too weak to be of value? Try this out! Has experimental support for Primary Pistols.
-Crysis 2 Music - Listen to the epic score with the Music Modding System. Compatible with vanilla XCOM 2 and WOTC.
-Suppression Weapons - get Suppression on base game, DLC/WOTC, and some mod guns.

regarding the dmg upgrade, better be carefull because it can become OP real fast since "breakthrough" upgrade their dmg too.
although i don't know if breakthrough are from the wotc vanilla or another mod i have.

Quick question for people using this mod: would you be okay with GTS perks for the Reaper and Skirmisher that increase their primary and secondary weapon damage?

Would it be awesome if one could choose from a list and balance out these perks from a pool of options using mod config menu. That way one could actually make good and fair use of this tool, otherwise often under/overpowered.

i downloaded lots of mods and when i tried launching it kept saying the same crash msg and then i tried removing the mods i thought wer the cause,when i finally have the remaining mods i used bfore the lots of mods downloaded it stil giving the same bullcrap only by deselecting all the wotc mods was i able 2 launch the game,i xit selected my usual mods and it gave me the same shit so i finally decided 2 uninstal and then installing it again if this doesnt work goodbye wotc 4 the rest of my life!

Anyone know of a mod, or how to mod the Templar and Skirmisher Melee weapons? I have tried in the Weapons INI of User/Games/WOTC/XCOM2/yada-yada and the game still reverts those Faction weapons to vanilla lameness levels
