Description
ATTENTION! I am no longer able to maintain or update my mods going into Patch 2.0. My PC has crashed and I don't know when I will be able to replace the broken parts. Furthermore, my personal life is in the middle of an important crossroads and I'm going to be focusing on reality. This means NONE of my mods will be updated further. They will remain as they are for Patch 1.9.

DISCLAIMER: If anyone wishes to maintain/update/continue this mod, they have my permission to do so with the understanding that credit must be given in the description of your updated mod to the original author (VJ) and myself. Always give credit where credit is due. Hopefully someone else can update and carry on the work.

This is an updated version of the original Blue UI Theme Standalone Mod by VJ (redistributed with permission). Since I am maintaining her original Mass Effect Theme Pack mod, I decided to update this one along with it.

The Blue UI Mod includes the following features:

» A full blue/red interface, with blue galaxy and a new nebulae design
» A custom blue main menu with red buttons
» A complete overhaul of almost all icons, buttons, and interfaces to be "Mass Effect" blue/red
» Additional Mod Support added for various mods to help support UI overhaul

Mod Compatibility/Support:

» 1080p Overhaul UI Plus Compatibility Patch
» While originally built for the excellent Dark UI mod, this compatibility patch will allow you to use this mod with Planetary Diversity or Reworked Planetary Diversity.
» While an excellent mod, the Color Coded Pop Status Icons Mod IS NOT needed for this UI overhaul, nor will it work, as this mod overwrites the same file to make the same icons match the Blue UI mod color palette.

  • General improvements and tweaks to make this look as "Mass Effect" as I can. Done when I see something worth updating or something is pointed out to me.
  • Add support for popular mods that need recoloring to match mod color palette, to include: traditions, authorities, civics, traits, etc. This has been well covered, but I'm still looking for more mods to add to compatibility.

NOTICE: This mod has parentheses around its name because it is needed to load higher in the load order than certain supported mods so that the icons from this mod will overwrite the "vanilla" version of the icons in each respective mod. This technique is to used sparingly and when deemed absolutely necessary, as only mods that truly need to overwrite other mod's assets (like compatibility patches) should use this technique.

Sorry to hear about IRL. Hope things calm down fo ryou and you'll be able to be back soon dude. Blue is very much a great UI colour.

I know this is not beiong updated any more. Bug bummer liked the skin color changes but in 2.0 the ship designer bugs out skewing the icon graphics to be unreadable. Anyone know of any up to date UI Color changers. Wish the game would give you a color option for UI thats just silly.

@twich.tv - What do you mean? Nothing in this mod should stop you from using it in MP, even if you are the ONLY player using it. It is purely visual.

Unfortunately, my PC has crash and I’m still working on fixing it. Hopefully I can get that working before or soon after Patch 2.0 comes out.

@shop13699 - A specific language mod, or if you use any other language in Stellaris (changed in the launcher) it won't work?

@Does_Bruno_Mars_Is_Gay - Can you show me a screenshot of what exactly you mean? If there is a glitch, I want to fix it, but I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to.
