Disable Any Class

What this mod does:
- Prevents disabled classes from being selected by unit promitions, mission rewards, the resistance headquarters or the black market.

What this mod does NOT do:
- Remove knowledge of disabled classes from the game engine.
- Prevent the user from training disabled classes at the GTS.
- Remove perks for disabled classes from the GTS.

Disabled classes can be selected at any time from an in-game mod configuration menu using this mod and will apply to any campaigns played while the mod is active.

Disable Any Class currently uses [WotC] Mod Config Menu to provide the in-game UI for selecting disabled classes.

Known Bugs:
It's entirely possible that I've missed some condition under which soldier classes are automatically chosen. If you receive a disabled character class during your campaign, please let me know how that happened!

Ive been playing around quite a bit. Currently using Richards Class Templates to create vanilla class replacements. I have commented out classes from Richards 3 tier class mod as I wanted a few of his abilities. Set the ForceNumDeck and NumDeck to 0 and commented out the [X2 class template].

I ran Gate Crasher on a fresh campaign, then used the console to LevelUpBarracks. At that point I discovered 1 of Richards Specialist class had been created. Started another game and in the MCM Richards Specialist Class was showing. "X" it out and it disappeared after quitting to desktop and restarting.

No other class has shown, but I also have reward troops appearing on the 3rd mission with a gremlin ability even though they are Rookies with no class or Gremlin. No idea if that relates or is just a coincidence as its from the Scouting Protocol mod by Iridar.

It seems if I disable a class temporarily, then re-enable it at a later point, I still don't seem to get them. I narrowed my promotions to 3 out of 8 classes to get the ones I want, yet, with all other classes re-enabled, I still keep getting the same 3.

@D3adlocust:
Some great Mod Troubleshooting advice.
That recommends the excellent Community Mod Launcher [github.com], which everyone who uses mods should be using.
This guide gives some more detailed advice on using the Community Mod Launcher: Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all
If you've just switched from the Firaxis Launcher, or are forced to use it, read the "Mods not activating/deactivating properly in WOTC" section of Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?

Sometimes it is very useful,but sometimes it breaks down and I have to use the solider which isn't what I want to have.

Uhm dumb thing to ask, but clicking them disable them or unticking them?

@Charidan:
Disable Any Class currently uses [WotC] Mod Config Menu to provide the in-game UI for selecting disabled classes.
The MCM options menu is accessible from the game's Options screen.

Hey dumb question, where do you open the mod settings from? The screenshot shows some kind of options menu but I can't find it anywhere.
