Find players to duo/squad with ! (Reddit's pubg discord)

So I heard you're looking for someone to duo or find some mates to play some squad games ?
But you keep getting teamed up with random people with no microphone ? Don't worry , that's a thing of the past !
In this quick little guide I will show you the best way to find people to play pubg with.
You're also highly likely to make friends this way and you will surely enjoy the game a lot more !

Connecting to discord

So the only thing you'll be needing is Discord.
Discord is a free voice and text chat for gamers and you can download it from here : https://discordapp.com/

After installing Discord you can then proceed with the next step which is connecting to a server.
The server I am recommending is Reddits Official /r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS Discord.
This server has thousands of players online that are playing PUBG so you'll find people to play with extremely quickly.

Finding players

After you've connected to the Discord channel you should see 3 Looking for Game (LFG) text chats on your left just like this :


It's now up to you to select your region and server type, even though "looking for group" has more people than "fpp" (first person) and "tpp" (third person) as these chats have been recently added.

After selecting your channel you can now see what other people are looking for.
But don't worry if there's stuff you don't yet understand in the chat.

This should help you understand what people are referring to.

LFG - Looking for group
LFS - Looking for squad
LF2 - Looking for two members (Sometimes LF2M)
ADR - Average Damage per Round
KDR - Kill Death Ratio
FPP - First Person Perspective
TPP - Third Person Perspective
SQ 40 / Squad 40 - Discord voice room "Squad 40"
Rank/Top 5000 - Where you place in terms of other players on the leaderboard.
Rating - Your personal elo/score.
lf3m 2200+ squad 59 - Looking for 3 members with a rating of 2200 or above, voice room Squad 59.

Joining a squad/duo

So you understand how this Discord works ? Great !

Now it's the moment to look for people.

Let me make an example.

PUBGplayer1 - LF2M SQ70
This means that this player is looking for 2 more players and he is on Squad room 70

After seeing this if you're interested in joining you should scroll down the squad rooms on your left until you find that room just like this and then double click on the squad room to join :



You should now be connected with the people in that room and you can now play the game together !

If you find it boring to wait for people to ask to join their room then just hop in an empty one and ask for people to join you, this way it'll be quicker.
