Description
Vanilla XCOM 2 version here

UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE VANILLA MOD IF YOU USE WOTC

Note: the images are there for reference only, as colors are much brighter in WotC and most patterns cannot be reconstructed in-game. To fix that, I'd recommend getting a color mod.

@vtaenz Yeah, that's doable. But I'm not exactly sure if it would look that good on the in-game camo list. If you want to, I can make a localization file so you can change the mod's original one and have the color combinations next to the pattern's name.

Would it be possible to rename the pattern names with their color combinations so we don't have to memorize or pull up the store page to see what it should be? For example: "US Colonial Marine (29:36)"

Yes, @Bistritean... indeed this Bicolor pattern is my default for Sparks (only use to chose different colors), lol

To tell you the truth, I believe that the Brazilian patterns are not that different than others that you put in the mod. If you change the colors of Indonesian and Vietnamese cammos you got something very close to the Brazilian jungle pattern. It's not exactly, but as the game is set in the future I believe that it is not a roleplay break.

Anyway, if you are interessed in upgrade this awesome mod I will be happy to help you the way I can... even if it is only doing some research.

Cheers!

@Jugulador I guess not. Back when I added it, some people suggested I add some vehicle camos in the mod, and I found this one simply named "Brazilian Bicolor" so yeah, not exactly accurate.

It'd be great if you could provide some patterns. I just need to find the flash drive that contained my backup files, including the original mod files, so I could update the mod.

Indispensable mod. But this "Brazilian Bilocor vehicle paint" does not exists. It barely resembles the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) painting for aircrafts (the scheme is similar, but they vary on colors). But, them, the colors are different. If you need some help to update the mod I could provide the official camo schemes with their true pattern and colors.

Cheers, mate!

@FullAutoAttack Technically you should, since they are 2 different mods. I only wrote that disclaimer at the top because I had some issues with the WotC version in debug which I only resolved by removing the vanilla version. I'd say it's probably safe, since the mod won't break your save in any scenario I can possibly think of.

I plan on playing vanilla first (I do have the WotC dlc) then on the second playthrough play WotC.

Can I subscibe to both versions?

Highly approve, the camos look great, and give a huge amount of variety to the game.

@SolidCat I actually edited multiple screenshots for the thumbnail, so it's not a single pattern. From top to bottom, the camos in the thumbnail are: German Flectarn, Russian Rastr, US MARPAT, Hexcam and Norwegian M/98
SolidCat Nov 30, 2017 @ 12:42pm
what is the camo in the thumbnail?
