Description
No more sleeping Z's above Colonist and Animal heads! This mod should slightly help fps for those who have a lot of Animals in their Colony.

This is just a simple mod I decided to make because I found during end-game I have a lot of animals and when they all sleep it destroys my framerate when playing on 2-3x speed, this mod helps out a bit to fix that issue. I also seen a lot of discussions talking about how to disable & wanting a option to disable the zzz now you have that option, enjoy!

If you find an issue please let me know, I'll fix it.

extra note:

If you're playing a low-end machine and still suffer from frame issues, try disabling "Plant Sway" in the options and enable Developer mode and open "visual settings" at the top and disable "Draw Shadows" this may help your overall performance.

Man, I thought I was the only one with this issue. Got raided at night once, took my game about 10 minutes to render everything in. I have a pretty beefy PC too.

for the request about static Zzz, it could be cool to still have a fairly small "z" which doesnt move or animate or fade, on or just above the animal, (non transparent probably due to different possible animal sizes) but am not sure if that is possible.

there is a rim themes mod though, maybe that can help but not sure

hi i already had plant sway disabled (as using lots of mods with lots of animals, including minions :) and slow computer, but cool i didnt know about draw shadow - will have to try that plus this mod ;) thanks

What about making the z's on colonists not move, and not disabled?

I could try something like that, but might be a little bit before I can work on something like that, but I do like the idea.

I agree animals can get out of hand, but maybe i want to know if my colonist is sleeping or not by the visual cue.

Any way to allow it to not block zzz's on colonists? just animals.
