Have less time on your hands? Navigate to our source code "main.lua" in the mod folder. At the top of the file there is a line that says "START_ROOM_ENABLED = false". Changing "false" to "true" will make it so all of the new items spawn in the starting room.

Why do all of the new tear effects work with familiars' tears? that shit's stupid :(

Most of those compatibility issues are a result of those mods overwriting the tear flag enumerations globally. I don't understand why they were coded to do that, but they were. :/

Best you can do is edit the mods yourself to put a "local" before their tearflag table and/or getting the authors of those mods to fix it.

This mod has a lot of compitability issues and a lot of people complaining saying the mod itself is broken. If you want to use this mod with other mods besides alpha birth 1+2 then I've devised a quick easy way to tell if the mod is working.

1. Disable every mod besides Alpha birth 1, 2 and 3 and the Alphabirth API.

2. Start the challenge "It follows" to test if the mod is working. Simply leave the starting room into a normal room and if there is a giant death beam following you in the second room the mods working.

3. Enable some mods and check again the "It follows" challenge to see if any of the mods broke it.

I've been finding most character mods and the garden to be the mods that are not compatible.

A lot of items are broken (including the cosmos). They have no effect at all.
