Chernarus Redux

Description


In the post-Soviet country of Chernarus. Several years has passed since the insurgency conflict and viral outbreak. The russian oriented country is now desolate and overgrown. The few that remain and inhabit the surrounding cities have chosen to bare arms and scavenge the land for supplies which is difficult to come by. Some may chose to believe Chernarus is hopeless, however there is a growing movement of survivors trying to take back the very cities they lost 26 years ago.

@Stolt - I do not know about the lighting, what I CAN tell you is this:

Load map first
THEN load any light mod!

As in SkyRim and other games, load order DOES MATTER.

Ensure you're loading stuff in the correct order.

Will it matter HERE? That I do not know/forgot as I had this for a long time.

Antistasi with zombies is fun on this map and i get no lagg capped or uncapped with Zombies. However the AI cannot drive So it best to use Zeus Ehanced and block offf the block on what the AI can see. Otherwise you gonna hear a lot of Booms LOL Kinda funny they blew up within their own base.

Quick long-shot : Is there any equivalent for this map for Dayz ?

I have a feeling that it'd be awesome to play it on the real deal :)

@Ashe Supuritta - I think this map at one time DID have such. It would put your FPS to about 5. ANYTHING in that area would be slow.

So, what they may have been speaking about was an OLDER version...cuz I remember it too...I do not play this map much, so I do not know it if was removed or not.

@ThunderStorm20 - Do you notice that you're the only one with this issue in FIVE YEARS???

And I do not have this issue either.

This points quite clearly this is an issue on your end.

What? Who knows.


What I DO know is, it is NOT THE MAP.

Is there a way to extend the grass view distance, because i set every setting to max and its still only showing the foliage 5 feet from me and i'm wanting it to load in more like the other maps

The detail on this map is incredible. Antistasi with zombies is awesome on this map, if a bit laggy.
