Creating Your Own Custom Emblem

A brief step-by-step guide to uploading your own custom banners. Along with the needed file types to get best results.

HOW TO UPLOAD:

Go to steam

Right click Veil of Crows

Click Properties

Go to the local files tab

Click browse local files

Open Windows Content

Open Veil of Crows Data

Open Resources

Open Mods

Open Default

Open Custom COA

IMAGE PROPERTIES:

Once you're in "Open Custom COA" just drag and drop your preferred image.
This should be a 512x512 - Black and White - .PNG

For best practice, save a copy of your .PNG file in another folder as well.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!Side Note: In case all your heroes are eliminated and you have to start over, you will notice that the banners are no longer available for selection. So what I did was add a second banner which I did not intend of using and always cut or paste back, every time I had to create a New Game..For some reason when you begin a new adventure the banner deos not load the folder..so you need to make a change inside the "Custom COA" folder so that the game recognises it as a change and loads the folder once more..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[h1] Possible Solution to COAs Not appearing [/h1]

To anyone that might have experienced or will experience a similary dificulty concerning the COA, as of 0.9 update, I believe I have a solution....

After several attempts I found a way for my COAs to appear...

Step 1: I cut-pasted the "Custom COA" folder outside of the "Default" mod folder into just the "Resources" folder

Step 2: I put my custom banner inside the "Custom COA" folder and then I loaded VOC

After that you should be Good to Go!

Hey swprodigy77. The guide has been updated. An update within the past four months moved the mod folder.

I can't see my custom COA anymore...not even the arrow in the face one...I followed all the steps mentioned but no luck...I even reset the world....any help on that?
