Captain Morgane tells the story of Morgane Castillo and her journey from playful girl to becoming the Caribbean’s first female pirate captain! Written by Steve Ince, award winning writer of adventure game ‘Broken Sword’, Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle is the spin-off to the smash-hit adventure game ‘So Blonde’.

Developed by leading adventure game studio Wizarbox and published by Reef Entertainment, this ‘Point & Click’ adventure game leads the way in immersive story-telling at its finest.

Exploring 5 different islands with over 50 beautifully illustrated locations. You will chase the trail left by Buckleberry Tanner, the famous adventurer, to find the hidden clues he left to locate the treasure on Turtle Island, racing against Hilary Simpkins (the villain from ‘So Blonde’) to discover the treasure before he does! Along the way, you’ll have to recruit a new crew, solve a myriad of puzzles and mini-games and develop your skills to outwit your enemies as the most famous pirate of the Caribbean!

• A semi open world set on 5 islands

Review Quotes:
'Every island looks and sounds totally different, and each one looks magnificent with incredible attention to detail. From the eternally dark Crab Island to the tropical Turtle Island, it's a pleasure to admire the beautiful hand-drawn backgrounds and listen to the Caribbean style music and sounds. Little creatures scurry around, leaves move in the breeze and water ripples to make the world seem alive.' -

'Beautiful hand-drawn artwork; well-written, intriguing story; easy but fun puzzles and minigames.' -

'a beautiful, enjoyable adventure with plenty of fun puzzles and minigames, offering an interesting coming-of-age story that deals with the loss of a loved one.' -

'Like all the best point and click titles, Captain Morgane has terrific, hand-drawn backdrops that are full of life and amazing cartoon charm.' -

'All of the characters in the Captain Morgane universe are fully voiced, and while there are no star names involved, the cast do a great job overall. Ince has done a grand job once again with a funny script and likeable characters. There are also some excellent tunes and incidental sound effects for your auditory pleasure.' -

'it does have a super plot, some lovely visuals, solid controls and another cracking script from one of the most commendable individuals working in the industry today. It is nice that such an old fashioned style of game still lives on, and this is definitely going to delight a core audience of fans.' -

'The game's focus on character growth succeeds unusually well with the young, attractive Morgane. Throughout the story, the gamers overhear her inner thoughts, participate in her efforts to exceed her father's expectations, and watch her awakening as a pathfinder/innovator/commander. The other characters aren't nearly as well-developed -- I would have enjoyed learning more about them. (Maybe there will be a spin-off sequel?)

In a game with so many personalities, dialogs are prominent. (When characters speak, their faces appear at the bottom right of the screen -- making character interaction more intimate because the portraits show a lot more detail than the in-game character models.) On the whole the dialogs are amusing and well voiced -- Morgane's expressive voiceovers, in particular, are standouts.'

'Aimed at fans of the classic LucasArts adventure games and So Blonde, and at adventure gamers who relish a piratical romp through alluring Caribbean locations.' -

'Voice acting though is nearly perfect, as there are only a few problems and those are very far between. The game also gives lots of options in terms of voice acting, including German, Spanish, and more besides English.' -

'Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle is an awesome game, that fans of point-and-click adventure games should be sure to check out. The story is solid, the characters are fun and interesting, and the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. It’s a decent length too, though length really depends on how quickly a player can figure out what they should be using together.' -
