The Bank Heist
The Bank heist is one of paydays most iconic and basic missions. It was one of the Heist to be included in the base game. There are four variations of the Bank Heist: Cash, Deposit, Gold and Random. They are all pretty much the same the only difference is the loot and the money output. I personally prefer the Gold Heist because you get the most money out of it.

For this build you will need infamy 3 to fully complete it of course you can try to do it without infamy too but you will not be able to use it to the full potential.

For this build I recommend the Burgler Perk Deck because of its many assets for stealth of course you can use many other Perk Decks like Crew chief or Rogue, but I personally prefer the Burgler Perk Deck because it works best for me and its specialized on stealth.

For this build we are going to use the two-piece Suit because of its high concealment and mobility.

Now we are going to talk about the primary you should be taking

The Plainsrider Bow - DLC needed



A heisters best friend the Plainsrider bow with a whopping 30 concealment and high damage for those pesky murky waters the optimal weapon for stealth.

An amazing secondary shotgun that can blast your enemy's away, into corners or rooms. With a 29 base concealment it's really well suited for stealth.

A secondary saw that can open doors and deposit boxes. It can safe you al lot of time and you know what people say “Time is money”. I would recommend that you take extra lead with you to maximize your money output but its not a necessity.

Now that we completed the build lets get started with pre-planing.

Bank heist pre-planing


Basic info:
Pre-plannig gives you and your crew assets (for example ammobags or bodybags) for the heist you're doing (All assets are the same for the Bank heists). Those assets cost you money and favors (from the contractor). You get 8 favors in total, this doesn't scale with difficulty. With these favors you can buy the assets that you want.

- 𝟯.𝟭 Pre-planing - Dead Drop


Dead Drop
In the Dead Drop section you got 4 options
  • Doctor Bags
  • Ammo Bags
  • Grenades
  • Body Bags
We are going to concentrate on the Ammo Bags and Body Bags options.

Ammo Bags



Uses:
You can place 2 Ammo Bags in total, in three different places the roof and the office. That costs you 3.200$ and 4 favors. Ammo Bags are useful for the saw, because than you don't need to take the extra lead skill with you.



Body Bags



Uses:
You can place 2 Body Bags in total, in four different locations the roof and the parking lot. That is going to cost you 3.200$ and 4 favors. You can dispose of corpses with Body Bags. With two Body Bag cases you have 8 body bags in total that should be enough or not ?



- 𝟯.𝟮 Pre-planing - Surveillance


Surveillance
In the Surveillance section you have 3 options
  • Camera Access
  • Spycam
  • Additional Cameras
We are going to concentrate on the Camera Access, Spycam and Additional Cameras options

Camera Access



Uses:
The Camera Access asset grants you access to the cameras which you're normally only able to access truth the camera/security room. You can place one camera access in total in two different places the roof and the parking lot. I would recommend you to place it in the parking lot because its easier to get there and you can't get spotted by any roaming guards. Placing a Camera Access costs you 1.000$ and 2 favors.

Spycam



Uses:
With the Spycam asset you can place invisible spycams that mark guards automatically (when they are in their range). You can't look truth these spycams thou. You can place three spycams in total in three different places. That would cost you 3.000$ and 6 favors. Spycams can be pretty useful for spotting guards but I don't recommend them because the map is really small and you can simply spot them by yourself.

Additional Cameras



Uses:
With the Additional Cameras asset you can place additional cameras that are invisible and can't spot you but you can look through them (With a camera access or the camera room). I would recommend you to buy the manager office camera because it gives you a good look on the back office.











But I wouldn't recommend you the bank teller camera because it only gives you a useless overview over the bank employs on the register.




- 𝟯.𝟯 Pre-planing - Insider Help


Insider Help
In the Insider Help section you got 2 options
  • Key card
  • Expert Driver
We are going to concentrate on the Key card option.

Key card



Uses:
With the Keycard asset you can place one keycard which can open the camera/security room for you. You can place one Key card in total in two different places. That will cost you 2.000$ and 2 favors. I would recommend you to place it in the bank tellers area because its easier and faster to get there without being spotted.

Vault Key



Uses:
The Vault Key asset places a key in your inventory that opens the door in the vault. This door spawns randomly, it can be open through a drill, the saw, c4 and the key. It mostly won't spawn but if it does the key is going to safe you a couple of minutes. You can place the key once in one place. This will cost you 3.000$ and 3 favors.

Now that we completed the pre-planng parts lets continue on with the plan execution

Bank heist - map layout

The Bank heist map consists of two important parts the bank and the parking lot.
Lets first begin with the parking lot.

The parking lot is a big open space behind the bank where you can safely hide.



You can enter the parking lot trough two places
  • Gate access area




  • Car access area




Which is faster, depends on your spawn area

You can also enter the Bank trough the parking lot taking the:
  • Staff entrance



  • Back entrance

Here I'm going to give you some brief information on the area that can maybe help you.
  • Equipment
    You can find the Thermal drill that you need for the vault in one of the cars parking on the parking lot.



    The spawns can differ.

  • Civs
    It can happen that a civ spawns on the parking lot, but he goes away after a couple of seconds.



  • Manager
    It can happen that the manager goes outside of the Bank in Staff entrance area or the Back entrance area where you than can approach him.



  • Guards
    Its possible for guards to roam outside of the bank in the parking lot inside of the
    • Staff entrance area



    • Back entrance area


    It doesn't happen often thou.

  • Special
    From the difficulty overkill and above there are going to spawn two Civs in the back of the parking lot.



    When you approach them bain says that you should cable tie them and bring them to the van because Wick want's to interrogate them.



    If you do that and complete the heist you get the saint francis achievement.

    Saint Francis
    Complete the Bank Heist job after finding the 2 punks in the parking lot and bringing them next to the van, without letting them get away or die on the OVERKILL difficulty or above.

    Quick tips
    • You can actually shoot the lock of the gate and don't need to lock pick it.



    • In the back side area there is a dumpster where you can hide body's

Let's continue with the bank.
- 𝟰.𝟭.𝟯 Plan execution - map layout - the bank


The bank consists of two parts
  • The interior
  • The roof top

Lets first begin with the interior of the building.

Bank: interior
The Bank interior is going to be the place you're going to spend the most time in.

You can enter the bank trough
  • The main entrance



  • The back entrance



  • The staff entrance



  • The roof top


Now I'm going to briefly go over the different parts over the bank.
  • The customer waiting area





    This is one of the main parts of the bank. Its connected with the office and the tellers area. There are 8 civilians in total satiation there. It's possible for guards and the manager to patrol around this area. Also, there are two ATM's placed on the opposite site of the tellers area.

  • The tellers area



    The tellers area is one of the most important places in the bank (When stealthing). Its connected with the main customer waiting area. In the teller area there are two bank employs, they are really important because they can raise the alarm, trough the panic button under the desk, in as meter of seconds. That's why I would recommend you to kill or intimidate them as fast a possible when rushing the bank.

  • The office supplies & access corridor



    The office corridor is a small room that connects the main customer waiting area and the office area. Sometimes the manager or the guards patrol trough there.

  • The office








    The office is also one of the main parts of the bank. Its connected with main customer waiting area, the office supplies & access corridor, the roof access area and the manager office. There are 2-7 civilians in the vicinity. Guards and the manager mainly patrol this area.
    Important:



    Watch out for the guy in the whit suit! When he gets alerted he runs to the panic batten and raises the alarm. I would recommend you to kill or intimidate him as fast as possible when rushing the bank (In stealth).












  • The manager office



    The manager office is in the back and its connected with the office. Sometimes the manager is sitting inside. Inside the office there are money bundles, sometimes the key card or a small safe with random things in it that you need to lock pick or drill. Guards don't go inside the office but sometimes stand in front of it.

  • The roof access area





    The roof access area is connected with the office, the parking lot and the roof. Sometimes guards and the manager patrol trough that area.

  • Security
    In the camera/security room is a guard who operates the cameras if you kill him the cameras won't work anymore and you can look trough the cameras.



    There are two spawns for the camera/security room
    • In the roof access area



    • In the back of the main customer waiting area

Now that we finished the bank interior lets continue with the roof top.
- 𝟰.𝟭.𝟰 Plan execution - map layout - roof top
Bank: roof top



The roof top is more of a connecting and hiding area.

You can enter the roof top trough
  • The roof access area



  • The parking lot


Let's split the roof in two parts
  • The parking lot roof area



  • The roof access area



    Its possible that guards and the manager patrol trough both areas but it doesn't happen often unless you break one of the cameras on the roof. It's also the perfect place to eliminate guards and to approach the manager.




The windows



Sometimes window's spawn on the roof top where you can look trough, but also can be spotted trough easily. The chance of window's spawning depends on the difficulty.

Here I'm going to give you some brief information on the area that can maybe help you out.

  • Equipment
    You can find the key card in the manager office which you can use to open the security door.



  • Vault access
    There are two spawns for the vault door

  • Manager
    There is only one manager. He has a blue shirt, on top of that a black jacket and is bold.



    He mostly likely has a key card with him. He roams around the following areas

    • Parking lot - back entrance
    • Parking lot - staff entrance
    • Roof top
    • Bank interior

    When you cable tie him he drops his key card.

  • Guards
    There are four guards in the bank. Three are "roamers" that patrol trough the bank and one is the "camera guy" he is in the camera room looking trough the cameras.



    The roaming guards patrol in these areas

    • Parking lot
    • Parking lot - back entrance
    • Parking lot - staff entrance
    • Roof top
    • Bank interior
    • On the street [rarely]

Now that we completed the preparations lets go on with the walkthrough

Preparations
When you're in the load out menu, you're load out should look like this



For the assets I would recommend you to take these



  • Key card
  • Vault key
  • Manager office camera
  • Camera access - parking lot

First steps
After spawning go to the parking lot and look for open doors that lead inside the bank or lock pick them if they are closed. Next you should get into the bank undetected and grab the key card behind the tellers area or look for the manager and get his key card. If you did or you have spare ecm, open the camera/security room and kill the guard inside to turn of the cameras.

Scouting out the area
If you didn't mask up you can walk around the bank and look for civilian spawns, guards the camera room, the manager and the key card. You can use these windows for that.





If you did mask up you can look trough the camera access asset and spot the guards and look around.

Eliminating guards/manager
Next you should try to eliminate or intimidate the guards and the manager. It's best to single them out and approach them slowly.
Here are the best areas to approach them
  • Roof top
  • Parking lot
  • roof access area

Killing spots
You can also approach them inside of the bank in special areas, but some of them can be tricky to do. Also, you will need the judge shotgun (any shotgun will do) for this.

  • Vault door kill [medium]



    Is there an annoying guard standing in front of the vault ?! Just shoot him with the Judge, so he will land in the corner.

    requirements:
    • Vault door in the office
    • cameras off or not looking





  • Manager office flip [medium to hard]



    You have a guard standing in front of the manger office, than shoot him inside of it and no one will notice !

    requirements:
    • The manager not being in his office





  • Office bounce [hard]



    Having a guard stand in the middle of the Office, then shoot him over to the Left side to hide him.

    requirements:
    • Civilians on the left side disposed of or tying them after quick
    • cameras off or not looking





  • Roof access area kill [easy]

    When a guard passes by you can simply blast him in a corner or wait for him to go up the stairs.



  • Access corridor elimination [easy]

    Here you can simply kill the guards who happens to pass by no need for any blasting tricks.





  • Back main entrance disposal [medium]



    If a guards stands there you can easily shoot him so that he lands in the corridor.

  • Back main entrance trick [hard to extreme]



    If a guards stands there you can try to shoot him in the corridor area but its really difficult.

    requirements:
    • cameras off or not looking
    • no civilians on the seats that can spot you

  • The super flipperino over the wall [extream]



    This is one of the hardest spots so better don't try it if you're not familiar with the judge blasting system. Anyway when a guards stands there you can blast him over the small wooden wall. Only try this if you don't give a damn and you're bored.

    • no civilians on the seats that can spot you




- 𝟰.𝟰 Hiding spots
Now that you killed all those guards its time to hide all those bodies. Here are the spots I recommend

  • Ac on the roof top



  • Bigger fan ac on the roof



  • Dumpster near the back entrance



  • Behind cars in the parking lot area



  • In the back of the parking lot



  • Behind small brick wall in the parking lot area



  • In small dumpster ally



  • In small ally in front of parking lot gate



  • In small ally in front of bank



  • Behind the van



  • Security/camera room



Now its time for you to ecm rush the bank

- 𝟱. The concept of ecm rushing
Ecm rushing

Ecm rusching is a simple concept. It consists of multiple players carrying a ECM Jammer and deploying it at a certain time (you only need to deploy one at a time) and rushing to the objective, getting control over civilians or killing guards (Its better to plan it out with your crew). This is commonly done with groups to speed up things or get control in certain heists. It is also possible to do it in solo.

In the bank heist ECM rushing is mostly used to get control over the main lobby and office area and killing the remaining guards. I would recommend you to first open the camera room before you attempt to ECM rush. Also, I would recommend you to first take out at least one roaming guard before using it. If you want to execute a ECM rush in a public game, first notify your crew and then execute it. And don't forget to answer the pagers of the guards you killed after the ECM depletes.

- 𝟲. Getting control
While doing a rush of any kind you should try to get control over the civilians. In the bank heist you should first
  • kill or intimidate the two bank employees in the tellers area
  • kill the guards
  • calm down and intimidate the civilians in the main lobby
  • calm down and intimidate the civilians in the Office area

Always try to intimidate them and not kill the unnecessarily because you get a money penalty for every civilian you killed but if its unavoidable kill them.
- 𝟳. The outside civilians
In the bank heist there are 3 civilians roaming around the outside area.



They spawn randomly and go around the bank. They don't enter the bank, but they can spot things like cable tied civilians or dead bodies and get alerted. You can easily cable tie them.



It can happen that they spot or get alerted outside of the map. In this situation you should kill them, wait for them to disappear or try to get them out of there somehow or else they will call the cops and sound the alarm.
- 𝟴. Drilling
Drilling

There is only one way to open the vault in the bank heist and that is to drill it. The thermal drill you'll be needing is in the parking lot. It's in the back of a black truck. You just need to pick it up, throw it in front of the vault in the designated area and assemble it.

Drill skills

Normally the drill needs 360 seconds to finish, converted that are 6 minutes. That's a lot. You can speed this process up with the following drill skills:

Drill Sawgeant
Basic:
Your drill and saw timer is decreased by 15%.

Aced:
Your drill and saw timer is decreased by an additional 15%.
.

Hardware Expert
Basic:
You fix drills and saws 25% faster. Drills and saws are also silent. Civilians and guards must see the drill or saw in order to become alerted.

Aced:
Gives your drills and saws a 10% chance to automatically restart after breaking.
.

Kickstarter
Basic:
Your drills and saws gain an additional 20% chance to automatically restart after breaking.

Aced:
Enables the ability to reset a broken drill or saw with a melee attack. The ability has a 50% chance to fix the drill or saw. The ability can only be used once per time the drill or saw is broken.


With all these skills your Drill
  • needs only 250 seconds to finish
  • can be fixed 25% faster and its silent
  • has a 30% chance to restart automatically
  • has a 50% to restart after hitting it

These skills only apply to you and the drills you place, but if they aren't placed by you, you can upgrade them. You can recognize drills that are upgradable by looking at they're outlining. If they are outlined blue you can be upgrade them.
- 𝟵. Waiting for the drill
Now that you set up the drill you need to wait for about 6 - 4 minutes. In that time you can't really do anything productive. That why you could do some of these tasks:
  • go afk
  • open the atm's
  • get the extra loot
  • look for packages
  • tie the outside civilians
  • watch a YouTube video
  • have fun with body bags
  • destroy all paintings


Until then the Vault should be already open
- 𝟭𝟬. Inside vault
The inside vault



The inside vault consist of a small dark room with a table in the middle with the loot on it (in the small metal card can be loot too) and 120 safe deposit boxes. You can simply take the loot on the table and leave. But you can also open the deposit boxes. With an saw it takes a average of 6 minutes (without the berserk skill), when you lock pick it alone it takes up to 36 minutes and with four people it takes 9 minutes.
I didn't calculate in the bot boosts and the berserk skill cause I unfortunately don't have the time or the manpower to do that maybe I'm going to add it in some future update

- 𝟭𝟭. Van spawns
Now that you grabbed the loot its time to escape with the Van. The Van spawns in different locations. They depend on your spawn.

    If you spawn here the van will be on the left side in a little side street.

    If you spawn here the van will be behind you in a small alley.

- 𝟭𝟐. Securing the loot
There aren't many tips for securing loot but I have 2 that might be useful.

  • 1. Car slide trick

    If the van spawns in the back of the bank and you're carrying gold with you, you can simply go trough this window.



    Normally you can't jump up high enough with the gold to reach the ledge of the window but you can throw the gold bag onto the whit car and the bag will slide down and you can simply jump up and get it.



  • 2. Bag throwing

    If you have a moneybag to carry and need to walk a long distance you can do this simple trick to go a little faster. Throw the money bag into the air run forward and catch it midair. This will save you a couple of seconds



    This only works with the transporter skill equipped and money and other light bags.

These tricks aren't really that amazing but in some situations they can come in handy.
- 𝟭𝟯. Extra loot
Besides the main loot in the vault there is also extra loot in the bank for you to grab.
Here are all the spots:
  • Manager office on the table
  • Tellers are on the front desk and beck shelve
  • ATM's in the main lobby

My preferred ak family weapon nowadays. It has a large magazine of 35 bullets, that's 5 more bullets than normal for rifles. The concealment is 16 that can be modded up to 20+. It has a damaged of 80 and a slightly higher firer rate than normal ak rifles.

The AK-762 is like the little brother of the AK-17 ⁽ᴵᵗˢ ʷᵒʳˢᵉ ᶦᶰ ᵉᵛᵉʳʸ ʷᵃʸ⁾. It has a magazine of 30 rounds, that is still decent. It has a slightly lower firer rate of 561, that can help spray at long range targets. It's slightly more accurate than the AK-17, but loses a lot of stability for that. It has the same damage model as the AK-17. The base concealment of the gun is 13 that can be modded up to 22+.

Arbiter grenade launcher - DLC needed



The arbiter is a good grenade launcher. It has high concealment and a decent ammo pool for a grenade launcher. You can modify it in two ways explosive or incendiary. Both are pretty good and have they're uses.

Uses:
You can place 2 Doctor Bags in total, in two different places the roof and the parking lot. That costs you 3.200$ and 4 favors. Doctor Bags can be used for replenishing health and the amount off downs you have before you go into custody. Doctor Bags are always important to have in loud mission especially on higher difficulty's.



Ammo Bags



Uses:
You can place 2 Ammo Bags in total, in three different places the roof and the office. That costs you 3.200$ and 4 favors. Ammo Bags are useful for stocking up on ammo. In loud missions it often happens that you run out of ammo and in these situations it could be crucial to have an extra ammo bag with you.

Uses:

Now that we completed the preparations lets go on with the walkthrough

Preparations
When you're in the load out menu, your load out should look like this



For the assets I would recommend you to take these



  • 2x medic bags
  • 2x ammo bags


Beginning
Because you want to do the heist loud you can simply walk inside the bank and mask up. While doing that try to capture and tie as many civilian as possible. You could of course try to stealth a bit of the heist to get a head start and be done faster with the drill before the police arrives.





Camping spots



Now that basically the whole army is on your a*s the only thing you can do is hide somewhere and try not to die. For that I recommend these spots

Now that you found a comfortable place to stay set up the drill and wait. Also, stick together with your crew and complete the objectives. Depending on the difficulty, swarms of enemy's will overrun you and you have to shoot them and try not to die.

- 𝟭𝟵. Things to watch out for
  • Cloaker vents



    Out of these small rat holes vents cloakers can spawn and kick the sh*t out of you down.



  • Teargas vents

    Some time after going loud, a helicopter will assault the roof of the bank. Bain will usually warn the crew: "Chopper coming in, roof guys, roof!" If these cops are left unchecked, they will deploy tear gas into the ventilation duct, causing damage to any heister who walks into the cloud of gas inside the bank (civilians, cops, converted cops and team AI bots are immune). The location of tear gas is based on the location of escape van. Once Bain warns you, it's advised to run to the roof and throw a grenade under the helicopter. - 𝟮𝟮. Firerstarter day 3
On the third day of the heist "Firerstarter" you rob a nearly similar harvest & trustee bank. Here are the differences and things you should look out for.

  • Electrified vault
    The vault in this bank is electrified. If you or your crew want to set up the drill it's going to put you shock you and you will be in a tased like state.



    If you want to avoid this you need to open this reinforced door on the roof



    Inside the small room will be a switch which will turn off the power and you'll now be able to set up the drill safely.



  • Burning the cache
    After entering the vault you will see a big stack off counterfeit money and a camera.



    You'll need to set the cache on firer and record it with the camera. After burning it you can escape.



  • Pre-planing



    In the pre-planing menu you will now see two new options. You can buy one of them, the Insider asset, this asset will now show you exactly where the vault and the camera room will be placed. The other one does nothing special.

my version of the guide:
walk into bank get a keycard kill camera operator then kill every guard one by one since there are only 4 of them on the highiest dificulty
after that its simple just get a hold of the civis and its done can be done on infamy 0 not even max lvl depending on ur skill (i can do it lvl 0 so its doable)

I'm using spycams, the keycard the tellers two ecms and a single ammo bag. My weapons are a saw and the judge/loco. You dont need extra body bags, because the cam operator wont need a bag, two for the guards and after the last is down, you can take over the bank alone. Where I deal with the guards: copy room, office vault spawn(launch them at the back corner), behind the tellers(opposide of security room) and -of course- side entries and roof. Only dont use the saw in a pub. lobby, where sb. else has the saw!
