"Every thought is a dream rushing by in a stream." ~ Earth, Wind & Fire

2nd Place Winner of Westwood College's Video Game Legends Pitch Competition (2012), Emerald Decade is an Adventure-Puzzle game utilizing the Game Maker Engine and designed to be played with a Single Finger to have a Gaming Experience that touches all through playing. Featuring an: Original Story & Mythology, Gameplay Mechanics and a Jazz Inspired Soundtrack, Emerald Decade brings a new way of enjoying games for all ages for mobile devices!

Lumen Ten, a young worldly veteran, goes on vacation to a self functioning sea-city named Ferris Nashville with his spunky sister Fanny Moor. The two experience Fat Tuesday as the sea-city itself goes into its own all-nighter festival. An Ice Veil suddenly manifests as an Emerald Toned man descends from it. This Emerald Man, Dios, deep freezes everything with various layers exotic ice while the citizens are encased into Ice Sculptures resembling the Zodiacs. Still digesting his life experiences, Lumen's Shaman powers suddenly manifest that can thaw the Ice Sculptures by simply touching their mysterious Energy Points called Shape Nodes. Dios furiously confused at Lumen's thawing abilities wages his celestial conflict of control for the sea. Their worlds collide while the rolling sea earns it's salt.

Original Story - Experience the Comical and Soul-Soothing story that can only be described as a type of "Boogie Wonderland" where one man digests his past through sensual healing as another lost soul discovers what it truly means to simple "be." Witness the original mythology for how and why the Sea earns it's salt.

Node Based Battle System - Touch adversaries as Ice Sculptures fashioned in the likeness of the Western and Eastern Zodiacs. Tap the right nodes in order from a Node Guideline and you may see into the future of which Nodes you click next!

Original Soundtrack - Enjoy the Original Themes inspired by Spiritual Earth Wind and Fire alongside the highly Imaginative Kamen Rider Den-O that shows there's still all kinds of music to be learned and embraced from the past.

Finger Friendly Game - Designed to only be played with one finger that universally caters to all ages and demographics from: children, to wounded veterans and the hardcore gamers. You'll find a new sensation to everything you tap in this adventure that can only be played by being pressed upon. No need for Unnecessary Controls or messy User Interfaces! Play on the go from Smartphones to iPads and other mobile devices!

Innovative Art Style - Inspired by Old School Zelda and Final Fantasy, Emerald Decade revitalizes the lost art of Tilesets with a facelift and twist to show an old dog can learn more tricks. Combining Western and Eastern character design styles, Emerald Decade brings balance between the two by joining them harmoniously.

what i like the most about this game is , really cool design , reminds me of mr. orange from Okami for some reason , probably the names but they look also simmilar ( just a bit)

The story concept is doable, but the "in-game" art is atrocious at best and I can't even make heads or tails of what is going on or how this game would actually function. I am also fairly opposed to game maker titles. they are ok for concept builds, but if you plan on taking this anywhere, you may want a real engine.

the concept art looks good, would even say I would watch an animated short with them in it, but the graphics of this game.... look like a snes hit the fan

"Innovative" and "harmonious" are not words I would use to describe the visual style of this game.
