Description

This map was discarded in the early days because so many testees either came out with warped minds or didn't come out at all. If you have a keen mind you might reach the end intact. You'd be the first. All you need to do is gather three cubes for the final chamber. Don't get sidetracked. Just get the cubes.

Moved fizzler in lower chamber to prevent exploit
Changed reflective cube removing alternate solution
Removed flip panel also alternate solution
Lowered jump on faith plate to address getting cubes stuck in dispenser

The name of this map is perfect. Usually when I break a map I list the things I didn't use....In this case it's faster to list the things I did: reflector cube, laser, lightbridge. (technically I "used" that glitchy funnel through door, but not in a way that would have been different if it didn't exist)

Hardest part for me was getting reflector cube positioned correctly. The rest of the test involved, as with all of your chambers, careful observations and putting two plus two together.

Nicely done! Had fun! As mood3rd likes to do, I gather 3 cubes at the exit! Companions . I was able to bring the reflector cube from the first room by a portal just over the fizzler to the next room

if you don't know how someone did something on a map.
& you want to see any hidden gates / switches.
below are usefull info:
for looking at hidden gates / swiches on a map, do the following:
access console: press key above TAB key (when finished, press again, to exit.)
type: sv_cheats 1 (this allows next 2 commands to work)
type: noclip 1 (this stops gravity affecting you, & you can move any direction including up & down, & through walls, floor,cieling & objects / items)
type: god (this means you can not die = imortal.)
(this is usefull if on the other side of a wall, you fly through, their is a laser field, you can't see untill to late. or other leathal element.)

ps to get the console in game, press the key above the TAB key.
when finished, press same key to exit.

I use fraps (the paid for version) . information etc at:
http://www.fraps.com/faq.php
I then use windows movie maker, to add titles etc.
you can split it & delete unwanted parts, with this if you want.
I don't want to speak, nirrate through the map.
but can with fraps & a microphone, if I wanted to.
you can record using software built into portal or steam (I forget which)

INSTRUCTIONS

---

To play demo file

1. Unzip the .dem file
2. Put in folder "...Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2"
3. In game console put "playdemo NAMEFILE"

To record a demo file

1. In game console put "record NAMEFILE"
