I get why people are upset about the PlayStation account stuff. It sucks when developers stuff online features into a single-player game. But I don't even understand because I could play fine without logging in. It sucks because those reviews are gonna turn people away from an incredible game. I'm only an hour in and i'm already feeling the nostalgia of playing GOW 2018 for the first time. So please, take all those reviews with a grain of salt and play the game if you really want to. The world won't end if you sign into or make a PlayStation account. Just enjoy the game.
