"real black metal" only consists of the first wave bands.

what is known as "black metal" today is nothing but noise music with questionable metal influences. when people try to argue bands like mayhem are real black metal, but not bands like venom or bathory, i can't help but cringe. real black metal sounds thrash-y, satanic, and a little lo-fi (NOT TOO MUCH) fake black metal is repetitive, whiney, racist, and WAY too lo-fi. some examples of REAL BLACK METAL are celtic frost, venom, bathory, and sodom. FAKE BLACK METAL are bands like mayhem, darkthrone, and burzum.
